The necessity of chose this theme is because through all the years of existence of the DOBE department, it doesn’t exist the importance to do the job due to many responsibilities and the lack of personal for all the students of the school. We count only with 2 professionals that work during all the day at the morning and the afternoon shift. Attending cases from the different levels of education: kinder garden, primary education, and high school. Also we count with a Social Worker that visits the different student houses in order to analyze and present the respective informs. I order to threat the cases at the DOBE, we need privacy and by not having it, its creating inconvenience among the students, parents and teachers. This is the reason why we design a Strategic Plan to improve the quality of service of Department of Orientation and Student Wealth. The technological advance in the different fields of the human activity, the scientific advance and the social dynamism, demands for a permanent innovation and changes in education as a response of the new society. At the study that we realize we saw the importance to improve the quality of service of the department, due that the quality of service of the department of vocational orientation was questioned. The principal arguments that we find in the interviews and surveys were the amount of students for each personnel, the lack of valorization on the roll, the bad attitudes from the parents and the familiars that influence over the student behavior, the necessity of make stronger the family heart, the lack of physical space, the lack of continuous professional formation. In relation with the amount of students of the school, the professionals dedicated to the orientation job, are not the required for specific cases. Nowadays in the educational process we face many crisis in values and in the behavioral model, having the task the Department of Orientation and Student Wealth at Unidad Educativa “LICEO CRISTIANO” of Guayaquil develop all the necessary strategies that allows to improve all the participants of the educational community. For this reason the DOBE decided to design a Strategic Plan that considers students, teachers, area directors, parents, and the community, in order to follow and evaluate each one of them. The implementation of this plan will allow the improvement of the quality of service of the DOBE, letting people know what really professional Educational orientation is. Its objectives, functions, who are the actors of this process, the planning, the purposes, types of planning, models of planning, what is Strategic Planning, models of planning of the DOBE were we let to know each of their moments, quality of education, principles of quality of education, constant improvement and a quality transformation plan. The methods to use in order to improve the quality of service of the department are theory and empiric methods, the use of particular methods in the qualitative research. (Life stories, participant observation, depth interviews, FODA, support of the vision, mission, politics, and strategies) In order to analyze the strategic plan we proceed to collect information of the population, according to the distributive of the sample, with the purpose to apply a structured survey with questions for the students, teachers and parents. Having as a result the application of the test, and visit the Open House of different Universities. The DOBE gives the information and clears any doubt according to the interests and opportunities that each student has on any professional career on our country. Due to the amount of students that the school have, the DOBE department doesn’t give all the necessary help due to the lack of personal and privacy to perform this task. Also as a result we found differences in the level of interaction between Students, Teachers, Directors, Parents and the Community. As a conclusion that the quality of service of the Department of Orientation and Student Wealth is not the correct due to the frequency on the factors such as: deficiency of the of the personnel, physic space, the interaction between the social media and the school, and the absence of integration of the teachers and directors to the orientation labor. The DOBE’s Strategic Plan considers concrete actions to make to participate the different human groups of the institution and the educational community with the orientation labor, which will lead to improve the quality of service of the department. The characteristics of the proposal and the phases of the Strategic Plan for the DOBE includes the vision, mission, general and specific objectives, politics, strategies, the strategic and operational plan, were we can look the activities that are going to be realized with the responsible person. The level of compliment and the resources to use in the different action programs were participates the students, authorities, teachers, parents, and the community, looking for an objective to each of them. From this part it’s necessary to transform the educational aspects under the principle that the youth will receive the priority. That the spaces given to these actors let them expand their potential and obtain knowledge and skills in order to understand the reality and creativity and take an action on it and elevate the self stem trough the education. As a summary, the concept of quality of service in the frame of the paradigm of the conduct’s and the technology must be overcome. The ideal educational community were parents and teachers participate together in taking decisions and be concern that their children learn and be respected is indispensable. The teachers must be prepared with responsibilities and with a big motivation in order to promote the apprenticeship in the classroom. Through affection and kindness create rights and responsibilities in the children’s and adolescents in order they can assume a roll with dignity and without disgrace. Improve the quality of service of the Department of Orientation and Student Wealth is giving back benefits to our institution. We sum to this the creation and implementation of the Parents School, a team conformed to give orientation and give advices to parents, in order to give support to the family. We have suggest to the authorities to give all the opportunities to improve the academic aspect, and in the teaching - learning techniques, the achievement is at sight. Our institution counts with the lowest index of desertions and repeaters, it represents a personal and institutional satisfaction. We think that by applying this project we can reach to improve even more the service to our community, being an example for the rest of particular and governmental institutions. We pose a problem subject to the institutional reality, establishing the offenses to urgently are met in orders, physical, psychological and social-family-academic, to provide students, teachers and parents opportunities for a better individual and collective development . Departamento de Posgrado., 2007-04-13) Almeida Jurado, Gonzalo; Cevallos Narváez, Dolores; García, GaloThe Thesis titled Microcurricular Design for Pre-school Education for the orientation of the process of teaching-learning of children from four to five years, of the Educational Center “Little Friends Let’s Learn” of Guayaquil, is the result of the investigation carried out by the applicants to masters, with the purpose of helping and guiding the teachers of Initial Education in the classroom, providing them with a technical-curricular instrument adapted to their reality, and to facilitate their didactic practices, didactics considering the integrity, security, and development of the children. Initially, a diagnosis was carried out , that is to say, an exhaustive study to identify the real situation of the Center up mentioned, in order to do that the appropriate tools were elaborated instruments such as surveys of the educational personnel with close end questions and the application of observation records in the classes. According to the analysis and systematizing of the data, the result of the process revealed the following: 87% of the teachers don't know how to elaborate a Design syllabus; 87% of the teachers don't apply appropriate methodological strategies; 74% of the staff who work in the Program of Initial Education is high school graduates and 13% has another Title that doesn't correspond at the level; 62% of the teachers improvise their classes, 100% indicate they lack a model of planning that contributes in the teaching-learning process development of the pre-school children appropriate to their chronological age; 87% of children and girls don't want to attend the classes and they don't participate during the teaching-learning process. Generally the gaps in the process of Curricular Design are found in the planning because the teachers don't know how to plan or they simply don’t plan, which generates difficulties in the teaching-learning process. Considering that the pre-school education, is very important because it is the fundamental scenario to establish bases in the cognitive, psychomotor and social development of children, the Ministry of Education and Culture, through the Interministerial Agreement # 004 of June 26 of 2002, in their 1 st. Article, formalizes the validity of the present National Curricular Referent for the Initial Education of the children and girls between zero and five years old, and in Art. 2: states that the necessary Institutional Curricula must be elaborated in response to the guideline of the Curricular Referent", but since until the present date, an appropriate Institutional Curricular Design has not been elaborated, and even worse an appropriate classroom design has not been elaborated either; with these antecedents as a foundation, we have believed it pertinent and necessary to elaborate the Microcurricular Design, with the purpose of having it serve as a guide for the pre-school teachers. This model is centered in the zero to five year-old children, as social actors subject of rights and teachings, parting from the reality of the scientific and technical contributions which serves as a guide for the thesis. The training of the pre-school teachers involved in the process was also considered. We considered their training in the use of methodological strategies and curricular planning validated by the Provincial Direction of Education and Culture of Guayas, through the DINAMEP. In conclusion, the proposal stated by the Microcurricular Design for the Initial Education process of children between four and five years, was built and profiled through the work, investigation and the contribution of experienced and qualified teachers and pre-school educators and adapted to the reality and chronological age of their students, therefore this guide provides lessons for life. It was carried out under the following action lines: it is open and flexible, it has a referential and orienting character for the pedagogic work of Initial Education. The conceptual bases of the Curriculum are the Constructivist and the Conceptual Pedagogy. The curriculum incorporates the development of the main axis which are: the affectivity, creativity, and logical reasoning which should be immersed in the following Development Axes: Personal, Social, Cognitive, and Psychomotor that also include the group of experiences, dexterities, abilities and attitudes that the children will develop in their process of integral formation; the profile of the boy's and girl’s development; the classroom planning, induces to the significant learning in terms of capacities and that it is not bounded to the accumulation of knowledge. The methodological strategies such as games and the arts, the schedule of classes (from 08h00 to 12h00, with two daily recesses of thirty minutes each one, one for a snack and the other one for rest); the evaluation system that was applied to evaluate the capacities, abilities and not only their knowledge. All of these impacted positively in the children integral education that is to say with a focus on the development of the processes (skills) and not exclusively on the contents, therefore it is adapted to an achievement format (standard) E.g.: Very satisfactory, Satisfactory, Not satisfactory. The school régime for trimester is kept. Teachers were also qualified so that they know and are able to manage the curricular planning and the methodological strategies (art and game). This way the teaching-learning process is planned and improved without interruptions to respond to the National Curricular Referent basic limits. The beneficiaries of this scientific investigation were the 162 children primarily from four to five years of age, the educators in general and concretely those of the Initial Educational Center “Little Friends Let’s Learn” of the city of Guayaquil. With the application of the project which included the training of the personnel that works at this level, we achieved that the teaching-learning process becomes a more dynamic and motivational one, with classes properly planned and sequenced in accord with the children chronological age. Art work and games were an important part of the daily routines which had a direct influence in the kids willingness to attend classes which can be replied in other Initial Education Centers, that they work with children and girls in this age. The legal bases that the present project has are: Interministerial Agreement # 004 published on the month of June of year 2002, and signed by the Minister of Education and Culture, the Minister of Welfare, the Minister of Labor and human resources, the Minister of Public Health, the Minister of Urban Development and Housing, the Technical Secretary of the Social Front, The Code of the childhood and the Adolescence, among others. This way we contribute to achieve the changes that are required in the Educational System, since the destination of the country and of the new generations it depends on that we make now to form the future of our Country and that of our children and daughters.Item La influencia de la planificación estratégica en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del Colegio Nacional Intercultural Bilingüe “San Guisel Alto” de la comunidad San Guisel Alto, parroquia Columbe, cantón Colta, Provincia de Chimborazo, quinquenio 2007– 2012(Universidad Estatal de Bolivar. Departamento de Posgrado, 2007-05) Osorio, Alexandra Jordàn; Vargas Gonzàlez, Glenda; Castaño Oliva, RafaelOur research is a qualitative study through which we aim to establish the importance of corporate communication, Parent Education Center G-3. Why we have set the following problem: The need to improve institutional communication between different groups involved in the teaching - learning process Matrix Education Center G-3 through the design of a strategic plan aimed at achieving the objective . Concomitant to the overall objective problem arises: Design a strategic communication plan that ensures the flow of timely and relevant information to help achieve the mission and goals of the Matrix Center. Based on the assumption that: An Institutional Strategic Plan consider a training plan for principals and teachers, workshops for students, school for parents and Monitoring and Evaluation of it will improve communication between actors from academia: students, teachers, managers and parents. The theoretical framework is an analysis of new trends in communication in the educational field, approaches, possibilities and dangers of poor or nonexistent Institutional Educational Communication through the development of diverse and varied educational programs, seeking to implement measures that articulate effective and efficient individuals in their social context way. The importance for the development of the institution in general purposes, principles, fundamentals, good communication objectives. In addition deepens in a study of planning, its genesis, evolution and conceptualisation, to take as a model for our research strategic planning and particularly the educational strategic planning model as the most appropriate to our field of study, which allows us to address educational institutions with the active participation of all professionals that comprise it. In terms of methodology covering the second chapter, a qualitative analysis of the results obtained in order to verify the importance of strategic planning in Institutional Communication for CEM-G-3 it is made. In this type of investigation is noted, the same we made it through the design field because we apply surveys, interviews and observation, using the methods: Descriptivo.- because to continue the research process we need data collection, analysis, systematization, interpretation to arrive at conclusions and recommendations that allowed us to build the alternative proposal. Analytical - Sintético.- because it allowed us to enter into an analysis of the factors influencing the problem and thus find alternative solutions. It was taken as a universe with different members that make up the educational community of CEM G-3: Rector, Vice Rector, Governing Institutions, Teachers, Parents and Students. In the third chapter, processing and data analysis we were performed and the following steps were taken: Scale variables nominal and ordinal type Data collection through card of: Surveys and interview guide. tabulation, analysis and interpretation of the results. Descriptive statistics were applied Application of SWOT Matrix Preparation of conclusions and recommendations Through this analysis it was possible to test the hypothesis qualitatively, because the type of communication that has developed in the CEM-G-3 has been functioning irregularly and without the application of any strategy or planning to guide its actions, and we need to propose a model of Strategic Plan that enables them to manage and improve institutional communication in turn provide higher quality services that meet the demands of all those involved in the educational work. Finally the proposal of "Design of a Strategic Plan to improve the Institutional Communication in the teaching - learning process Matrix Education Center G-3". In this part of the thesis presents the design of the proposal through the model of Strategic Planning Education, following the sequence of the respective moments that mention is made in the theoretical framework, the same as after making the strategic diagnosis allowed us ask the mission, policy vision, goals and strategies that will allow us through actions to reach the goals in the strategic plan. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are identified, and then enter a process of construction of the scenarios that can act CEM and schools q to set it up in a third time alternative strategies to guide their actions, by Finally the operational plans to be implemented in order to evaluate the results of the proposal are presented. We considered that the main programs of action are: • Training Plan for teachers and administrators. • Workshop for Managers: Strategies for Institutional Broadcasting. • Communication Workshop for students. • Workshop School for parents.Item Influencia de la integración curricular entre la educación básica y el bachillerato del Colegio Nacional Pedro Carbo en el periodo 2005 – 2006(Universidad Estatal de Bolívar. Departamento de Posgrado, 2007-04) Paredes, Luis; Cháves, Gonzalo; Lara Olalla, MarcoThe competitive integration is necessary for unfolding condition, it is clear that education as a basic part of society among its principles should apply the capacity of each of its actors and the changes are the fundamental pillar to achieve. Pragmatism is immersed in all activities of the human being, because its basic function is to give clear indications of how we are working in that exercise. This research aimed at the study and analysis of curriculum integration between basic education and high school and implement a proposal to improve skills in students and teachers revitalize education in terms of continuous improvement of the curriculum and integrate the current scenario of the schools in the city of Guaranda. Statistical analyzes have shown that in the schools of the city are still using traditional models of lecturing without taking into account the changes that occur in the curricula at all educational levels, so that this process does not students feel a real motivation for learning. Young people should be formed in consideration of the new organization and production systems in relation to the increasing demands for knowledge and handling technologies. A model to direct education about competencies involves emphasizing the importance of learning with practice, so it requires the flexible and adaptable curriculum to local, regional and national context; so it is necessary then the link with all the actors who believe in change. Our proposal seeks to develop the capacity for innovation, adaptation, critical, logical thinking and continuous learning of both teachers and pupils authorities. The theoretical basis of this work is in Decree 1786 that focuses development effort accrediting skills to build knowledge based on practice and building policies to achieve a quality education that prepares citizens for the work and to produce knowledge at all educational levels. Furthermore, this approach we propose responsive to the need to find a point of convergence between education and employment. It is not that jobs but that the capabilities of each individual is crucial to personal development are created. This approach to skills and the application of innovated curricula that meet the need for change characteristic of modern society, as it is a dynamic concept that prints emphasis and value on human capacity to innovate and to cope with change and manage it for him instead of waiting passively. We are aware that in actual practice the highest percentage of teachers resort to methods focused on teaching, regardless understanding, skills, abilities and prior knowledge that students can bring from their daily practice to foster meaningful learning . The lack of teachers about the skills required by the labor market is the main evidence of the gap between the planned and practiced, becoming become one of the flaws that prevent the achievement of a well-founded curriculum development, because the students do not perform practices and reports that register are not disclosed to the real actors, likewise, no diagnostic tests to detect the level of labor competency applied consequently if teachers know under what conditions students are not They may provide the required support. Addressing the problem of curricular integration between basic education and high school is to give a turn to the results of application of knowledge and skills, it refers to know-how in the context through practice, so the competition both teachers students demonstrated through the performance of the person in different circumstances and contexts, so that the training currently students are taught must be related to the theory and practice, to provide the student possibilities of access to construction of new knowledge. From the foregoing, I can conclude that it should give priority to programs that include the linking of theory with practice, based on competencies, through which the interaction of several sets of skills, abilities and attitudes necessary to seek development of the individual.Item La aplicación de la Legislación Educativa en la Gestión Institucional de las Unidades Educativas Pertenecientes a la Dirección Provincial de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe de Chimborazo(Universidad Estatal de Bolívar.
