Abstract
El presente informe fue realizado en la empresa Auto Servicio Total Echeandía, en la cual gracias a la colaboración de sus propietarios y empleados obtuvimos información de suma importancia y verídica, la cual nos hizo ver la realidad de dicha empresa.
Gracias a los resultados obtenidos en nuestra investigación a través de encuestas y entrevista a los colaboradores y propietario respectivamente pudimos constatar que esta empresa no cuenta con un sistema de control de inventario, lo cual ha provocado muchas falencias al momento de la tomar de decisiones por parte de sus administradores.
Dichas decisiones mal tomadas han llevado por varias ocasiones a estoquear sus inventarios, lo cual genera un alto valor en la gestión de compras, bajo rendimiento sobre la inversión y altos costos en la administración de este proceso. Existen mercaderías que se compran en exceso debido al desconocimiento de las existencias, esto hace que la reposición se haga sin seguir una política económica; además existe el riesgo de que los artículos sufran problemas de calidad por el tiempo que se almacena en bodega. Finalmente como una manera de encontrar una solución a las falencias encontradas, se planteó el objetivo general y los objetivos específicos, los cuales se cumplieron a cabalidad.

PROCESSES OF THE CONTROL OF INVENTORIES IN THE COMPANY TOTAL SELF SERVICE ECHEANDÍA "ATECH" LOCATED IN THE CANTÓN ECHEANDÍA BOLÍVAR PROVINCE, YEAR 2016.
This report was made in the company Auto Servicio Total Echeandía, in which, thanks to the collaboration of its owners and employees, we obtained information of utmost importance and truth, which made us see the reality of this company.
Thanks to the results obtained in our research through surveys and interviews with the collaborators and owner respectively we could see that this company does not have an inventory control system, which has caused many shortcomings at the time of making decisions by of its administrators.
These poorly-taken decisions have repeatedly led to stopping their inventories, which generates high value in the management of purchases, low return on investment and high costs in the administration of this process. There are goods that are bought in excess due to ignorance of the stock, this makes the replacement is made without following an economic policy; There is also a risk that the items suffer quality problems for the time stored in the warehouse. Finally, as a way to find a solution to the shortcomings found, the general objective and specific objectives were set, which were fully met.
