Abstract
La presente investigación aborda la temática sobre el “SIMBOLISMO DE LA FIESTA TRADICIONAL “SANTOS REYES MAGOS” Y SU INCIDENCIA EN LA OPINIÓN PÚBLICA DE LA
PARROQUIA SALINAS, PROVINCIA BOLÍVAR, AÑO 2023”, el proposito fundamental es indagar los factores que inciden en conocer el simbolismo presente en esta fiesta ancestral conocida como Santos Reyes Magos.
Con el proposito de alcanzar los objetivos estructurados al comienzo del estudio de la investigación y la recolección de información obtenida según las variables identificadas juntamente con un trabajo de campo dónde se aplicó 280 encuestas a los moradores de la parroquia Salinas, de la misma manera se elaboró una ficha etnográfica (ficha de observación) en ella se detalla el comienzo y el final de la festividad para profundizar se trabajó con entrevistas con la información obtenida se realizó la tabulacion de datos con su respectiva interpretación de resultados.
Además con los resultados obtenidos se logró demostrar el simbolismo y la incidencia generada por la opinión pública referente a la fiesta de los Santos Reyes Magos. A partir de los objetivos establecidos se propuso elaborar un producto audiovisual comunicacional en formato reportaje sobre la historia, el significado y el simbolismo con el propósito de dar a conocer esta fiesta pagana que se desarrolla en Salinas de Guaranda.

The following research addresses the topic of the " SYMBOLISM OF THE TRADITIONAL FEAST “HOLY KINGS” AND ITS IMPACT ON PUBLIC OPINION OF THE SALINAS PARISH, BOLÍVAR
PROVINCE, YEAR 2023", the fundamental purpose is to investigate the facts that affect the symbolism present in this ancestral festival known as the Holy Three Kings. In order to achieve the objectives structured at the beginning of the study of the research and the collection of information obtained according to the identified variables together with a fieldwork where surveys were applied to the inhabitants of the Salinas parish, in the same way an ethnographic file (observation sheet) was elaborated in which the beginning and end of the festivity are detailed to deepen the work with interviews with the information Once obtained, the tabulation of data was carried out with its respective interpretation of results. In addition, with the results obtained, it was possible to demonstrate the symbolism and the incidence generated by public opinion regarding the feast of the Holy Kings. Based on the established objectives, it was proposed to develop a communicational audiovisual product in report format on the history, meaning and symbolism with the purpose of publicizing this pagan festival that takes place in Salina de Guaranda.
