Abstract
La presente investigación se enfocó en desarrollar estrategias para el desarrollo del turismo en la comunidad Chazojuan, parroquia Salinas, cantón Guaranda, provincia Bolívar. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo explorar y proponer estrategias para un desarrollo sostenible. Se empleó métodos de investigación inductivos y deductivos. Por otro lado, mediante encuestas y observación directa, se analizó el estado socioeconómico de la comunidad y se proponen actividades turísticas. Los resultados muestran la diversidad y potencial de la localidad, así como la necesidad de infraestructura, promoción y participación comunitaria para un desarrollo turístico sostenible. Se identificaron desafíos como la falta de planificación y la dependencia excesiva del turismo. Por otro lado, las propuestas incluyen excursionismo guiado, infraestructura turística y promoción local. Además, en la comunidad se identificó 10 atractivos turísticos de los cuales 5 con atractivos naturales y 5 son manifestaciones culturales, las mismas que fueron claves para la elaboración de un producto turístico. En conclusión, el desarrollo del turismo en el área de estudio puede mejorar la calidad de vida de sus habitantes y preservar su patrimonio cultural y natural, siempre y cuando se aborden adecuadamente los desafíos y se promueva un enfoque sostenible y centrado en la comunidad.

This research focused on developing strategies for the development of tourism in the Chazojuan community, Salinas parish, Guaranda canton, Bolívar province. This research aims to explore and propose strategies for sustainable development. Inductive and deductive research methods were used. On the other hand, through surveys and direct observation, the socioeconomic status of the community is analyzed and tourist activities are proposed. The results show the diversity and potential of the town, as well as the need for infrastructure, promotion and community participation for sustainable tourism development. Challenges were identified such as lack of planning and over-reliance on tourism. On the other hand, the proposals include guided hiking, tourist infrastructure and local promotion. In addition, 10 tourist attractions were identified in the community, of which 5 have natural attractions and 5 are cultural manifestations, which were key to the development of a tourist product. In conclusion, tourism development in the study area can improve the quality of life of its inhabitants and preserve its cultural and natural heritage, as long as the challenges are adequately addressed and a sustainable and community centered approach is promoted.
