| dc.description | This research focused on developing strategies that allow the tourist development of the parish of Santa Fe, located in the canton of Guaranda, province of Bolívar. The same was based on the problem of poor management with the tourist development of the parish. To achieve the objective of these strategies, a mixed instigation approach was applied which combines qualitative and quantitative methods. The research design was based on the analysis of documents such as the application of an interview and a survey to find out relevant data on tourism in the parish of Santa Fe. First, an exhaustive bibliographic review was carried out such as blogs, magazine articles, theses, Scopus, Google Scholar, prior to that to contrast the information an interview was conducted to find out important data that the parish faces in terms of tourist development. Later, field work was used to prioritize the different tourist attractions that the parish has. On the other hand, through the application of surveys it was possible to know the different preferences that tourists have when it comes to doing tourism. These surveys provided quantitative and qualitative information, thus enhancing the study of the results obtained. Finally, with the results obtained, it is concluded that the parish has insufficient management in tourism development, which is why this study contributes to identifying new opportunities for tourism development and to making the most of existing resources. | |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se enfocó en desarrollar estrategias que permitan el desarrollo turístico de la parroquia Santa Fe, ubicada en el cantón Guaranda, provincia de Bolívar. La misma que se basó en la problemática sobre la escasa gestión con el desarrollo turístico de la parroquia. Para alcanzar del objetivo de dichas estrategias, se aplicó un enfoque de instigación mixto la cual combina métodos cualitativos como cuantitativos. El diseño de la investigación se basó en el análisis de documentos como la aplicación de una entrevista y una encuesta para conocer datos relevantes sobre el turismo en la parroquia Santa Fe. En primer lugar, se realizó una exhaustiva revisión bibliografía tales como blogs, artículos de revistas, tesis, Scopus, Google Scholar, previo a eso para contrastar la información se realizó una entrevista para conocer datos importantes que enfrenta la parroquia en cuanto al desarrollo turístico. Posteriormente se empleó un trabajo de campo para lograr jerarquizar los diferentes atractivos turísticos que posee la parroquia. Por otro lado, mediante la aplicación de las encuestas permitió conocer las diferentes preferencias que tiene el turista a la hora de realizar turismo estas encuestas proporcionaron información cuantitativa como cualitativa, engrandeciendo así el estudio de los resultados obtenidos. Finalmente, con los resultados obtenidos se llega a la conclusión que la parroquia posee una insuficiente gestión en el desarrollo turístico, por lo cual el presente estudio aporta a identificar nuevas oportunidades de desarrollo turístico y a aprovechar al máximo los recursos existentes. | |
