Resumen :	En el presente proyecto se diseñó una ruta turística para fomentar el turismo rural bajo el manual del MINTUR en la parroquia San Pedro de la Bendita, cantón Catamayo, provincia Loja, año 2023. El proceso del diseño de la ruta comprendió tres etapas: identificación de atractivos turísticos, el perfil del turista y el diseño de la misma. La metodología que se utilizo fue la documental misma que se usó al recolectar información relevante acerca de la parroquia, de igual manera la investigación de campo cuando se visitó cada uno de los atractivos turísticos y se realizó la aplicación de la encuesta con el fin de obtener toda la información general y específica, y por último la investigación descriptiva que se aplicó al momento de describir las características principales de cada atractivo visitado y los datos resultantes de la encuesta, los que nos ayudaron al momento del diseño de la ruta. Un hallazgo significativo es que el GAD parroquial no tiene ningún registro de atractivos turísticos, ni un vínculo con alguna agencia turística. Entre los resultados principales se obtuvo que los atractivos que destacan son los de categoría Manifestaciones Culturales de tipo Arquitectura, del perfil del turista se descubrió que la mayoría de personas que visitan la parroquia son mujeres y tienen interés por actividades al aire libre. Se concluyó que la realización de la ruta contribuye al turismo rural de la parroquia y se recomienda el establecimiento del comité para la operación eficaz de la ruta.
Descripción :	In the present project, a tourist route was designed to promote rural tourism under the MINTUR manual in the San Pedro de la Bendita parish, Catamayo canton, Loja province, year 2023. The route design process included three stages: identification of tourist attractions, the tourist profile and its design. The methodology that was used was the documentary itself that was used to collect relevant information about the parish, in the same way the field investigation when each of the tourist attractions was visited and the application of the survey was carried out in order to obtain all the general and specific information, and finally the descriptive research that was applied when describing the main characteristics of each attraction visited and the data resulting from the survey, which helped us when designing the route. A significant finding is that the parish GAD does not have any registry of tourist attractions, nor a link with any tourist agency. Among the main results it was obtained that the attractions that stand out are those of the category Cultural Manifestations of the Architecture type, from the tourist profile it was discovered that the majority of people who visit the parish are women and are interested in outdoor activities. It was concluded that the realization of the route contributes to the rural tourism of the parish and the establishment of the committee for the effective operation of the route is recommended.
