Resumen :	La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar si el uso de la plataforma virtual excelearning en el desarrollo del aprendizaje de la Matemática en un grupo de estudiantes del sexto año de Educación General Básica paralelo “C” en la Unidad Educativa “Roberto Alfredo Arregui Chauvin” provincia Bolívar cantón Guaranda durante el año lectivo 2021-2022, para ello se plantearon como objetivos específicos realizar una evaluación del nivel de conocimiento y así identificar si existía problemas de aprendizaje en la asignatura, planificar estrategias empleando la herramienta digital y diseñar una guía didáctica para el manejo y utilización de la misma. La investigación se realizó según el enfoque mixto, trabajando con un total de 21 estudiantes y 1 docente a quienes se les aplicaron 3 instrumentos, 2 del tipo cuantitativo para valorar los conocimientos sobre la matemática y sobre el uso de la herramienta dirigidos a los estudiantes y una entrevista a la docente, para conocer sobre su conocimiento en el uso y manejo de la herramienta. Como resultados se obtuvo que el nivel de conocimiento frente a distintas áreas básicas eran deficientes, con mayor porcentaje de respuestas incorrectas que correctas, además, según la perspectiva de los estudiantes el uso de la herramienta de excelearning puede ayudar a mejorar la comprensión de la asignatura. También con el desarrollo de la entrevista a la docente, se identificó que en efecto no conocía la herramienta digital, sin embargo, mostraban interés en reconocer como usarla para aplicarla. Como conclusión del estudio se obtuvo que; El 80% de los estudiantes que participaron en el estudio consideraron que los docentes que trabajan en el área de matemática a nivel del 6to año de Educación General Básica deben planificar e implementar estrategias virtuales como la plataforma excelearning para que el estudiante sea creativo y aprenda matemáticas, permitiéndole además su uso libre dentro del proceso de aprendizaje, razón por la cual es recomendable emplear la propuesta diseñada.
Descripción :	The main objective of this research is to determine if the use of the virtual platform excellearning in the development of Mathematics learning in a group of students of the sixth year of Basic General Education parallel "C" in the Educational Unit "Roberto Alfredo Arregui Chauvin "Bolívar province, Guaranda canton, during the 2021-2022 school year, for which the specific objectives were to carry out an evaluation of the level of knowledge and thus identify if there were learning problems in the subject, plan strategies using the digital tool and design a didactic guide for its management and use. The research was carried out according to the mixed approach, working with a total of 21 students and 1 teacher to whom 3 instruments were applied, 2 of the quantitative type to assess knowledge about mathematics and the use of the tool aimed at students and a interview the teacher, to learn about their knowledge in the use and management of the tool. As a result, it was obtained that the level of knowledge in different basic areas was deficient, with a higher percentage of incorrect answers than correct ones, in addition, according to the perspective of the students, the use of the excellearning tool can help improve the understanding of the subject. . Also with the development of the interview with the teacher, it was identified that in effect they did not know the digital tool, however, they showed interest in recognizing how to use it to apply it. As a conclusion of the study it was obtained that; 80% of the students who participated in the study considered that teachers who work in the area of mathematics at the level of the 6th year of Basic General Education should plan and implement virtual strategies such as the excellearning platform so that the student is creative and learns mathematics. , also allowing its free use within the learning process, which is why it is advisable to use the designed proposal.
