Título :	Aplicación móvil educativa para fortalecer el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje de la asignatura de inglés con los estudiantes de octavo año de educación general básica en la unidad educativa del milenio “Ángel Polibio Chaves” del cantón San Miguel, provincia Bolívar, durante el periodo lectivo 2021-2022.

Resumen :	El objetivo fue determinar una aplicación móvil educativa para fortalecer el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la asignatura de Inglés con los estudiantes de octavo año de Educación General Básica en la Unidad Educativa del Milenio “Ángel Polibio Chaves” del Cantón San Miguel, Provincia Bolívar, durante el periodo lectivo 2021-2022. Este proyecto de investigación se lo realizó mediante un enfoque cuantitativo esto se debió a la identificación visible de la problemática en cuanto al aprendizaje de la asignatura de Inglés, el diseño que se aplicó fue documental-bibliográfico, el universo que se tomó en cuenta fue de 136 estudiantes, la información recolectada se la analizó mediante Microsoft Excel para luego comparar en el programa de SPSS. Se realizó una prueba de diagnóstico sin la utilización de la aplicación móvil educativa STUDENGLISH y con la utilización del aplicativo, en la cual se realizó una comparación cuantitativa sobre el aprendizaje de la asignatura de Inglés, se ejecutó el respectivo análisis dejando como resultado la necesidad de la utilización de aplicaciones móviles educativas que fortalezcan en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en las cuatro habilidades del idioma de inglés. Se concluye que con la ejecución de la aplicación móvil STUDENGLISH se podrá fortalecer el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la asignatura de Inglés y además de ello el estudiante podrá ir construyendo su propio aprendizaje significativo, ya que el aplicativo cuenta con varias funcionalidades como: traductor, elementos de multimedia, actividades interactivas y juego, en donde el estudiante va a despertar la curiosidad por aprender.
Descripción :	The objective was to determine an educational mobile application to strengthen the teaching-learning process of the English subject with the students of the eighth year of Basic General Education in the Educational Unit of the Millennium "Ángel Polibio Chaves" of the San Miguel Canton, Bolívar Province, during the academic period 2021-2022. This research project was carried out through a quantitative approach, this was due to the visible identification of the problem in terms of learning the subject of English, the design that was applied was documentary-bibliographic, the universe that was taken into account was 136 students, the information collected was analyzed using Microsoft Excel and then analyzed in the SPSS program. A diagnostic test was carried out without the use of the STUDENGLISH educational mobile application and with the use of the application, in which a quantitative comparison was made on the learning of the English subject, the respective analysis was carried out, leaving as a result the need for the use of educational mobile applications that strengthen the teaching-learning process in the four skills of the English language. It is concluded that with the execution of the STUDENGLISH mobile application it will be possible to strengthen the teaching-learning process in the subject of English and in addition to this the student will be able to build their own significant learning, since the application has several functionalities such as: translator, multimedia elements, interactive activities and games, where the student will awaken the curiosity to learn.
