Item Estrategias metodológicas como mecanismo de acción para validar el rendimiento académico en la unidad educativa Fiscomisional a Distancia de Chimborazo parroquia Lizarzaburú, cantón Riobamba, provincia Chimborazo en el período 2011(Universidad Estatal de Bolívar. Departamento de Posgrado, 2011) Avalos Torres, María Teresa; Yánez Caminos, Roel LandívarFor teachers today has become a problem when selecting and applying appropriate methodological strategies in the teaching-learning process, this general problem of education also affects my institution, in order to establish a mechanism for improvement We have conducted this research to solve the routine use of methodological strategies applied by teachers and mechanism of action to validate the Academic Performance in Distance Education Unit Chimborazo Fiscomisional Lizarzaburu Parish, Canton Riobamba, Chimborazo Province in the period 2011 This paper focuses on innovative methodological strategies that allow establishing interaction between teacher - student and are appropriate to develop the full potential of students urging the Academic Performance is satisfactory. Research was executed through observation and surveys of 20 teachers who are total population and a stratified sample of 255 students of which 706 with the Institution, who are directly involved in the problem, with the to obtain relevant information analysis and interpretation of results was performed by means of frequency tables and statistical graphics, for hypothesis testing statistical technique it was applied Chi - square comprobándose so that the hypothesis is true . As such it is determined that there is a lack of commitment by teachers in their preparation is therefore not properly apply the strategies, and also established that have no interest in investigating new strategies that are feasible for implementation and allow a significant learning because they are accustomed to daily and that all change brings resistance, other identified key aspects is that teachers apply certain strategies that only they handle more students or not set out in the planning but not limited run learning situations. How the new Methodological Strategies in the institution was implemented it was in the first instance through training teachers through a Training Workshop Education in which they actively participated, achieving open a space for reflection on the need to be in constant innovation as the group of students with whom they work have their own particularities distance education and belong to the new generation that demand greater preparation by teachers. The second phase of implementation consisted of the multiplication of these methodological strategies with students of the respective courses each teacher is in charge with the commitment of inserting irlas as the learning pace of his group because purpose is to master these strategies and varying irlas not cause boredom or disinterest by students and their performance will gradually improve as this is a process. Thus they are benefiting students, teachers and authorities of the Distance Education Unit of Chimborazo Fiscomisional well as those interested in this research
