| dc.description | The objective of this research project is to interlinguistic communication through the application of interactive flashcards in English and Kichwa, aimed at students of the sub-level (DDTE) in the Intercultural Bilingual Community Education Unit “Surupukyu” during the year 2024. Addressing a problem that exposes that in Ecuador there is a low level of English language learning in public education. Adding that, the low performance in English language learning is attributed to the lack of specialized teacher assignment, lack of parental support and supervision of their children's curricular activities. This research work used a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques, which succeeded in identifying challenges and benefits, gathering data on its effectiveness. Therefore, the use of interactive flashcards is an effective strategy to improve English vocabulary, in this case for Kichwa speaking students, therefore, this is a valuable tool for optimizing student learning | |
| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo la comunicación interlingüística a través de la aplicación de las flashcards interactivas en el idioma inglés y el idioma kichwa, dirigidas a estudiantes del subnivel (DDTE) en la Unidad Educativa Comunitaria Intercultural Bilingüe “Surupukyu” durante el año 2024. Atendiendo una problemática que expone que en Ecuador hay un bajo nivel de aprendizaje del idioma inglés en la educación pública. Añadiendo que, el bajo rendimiento en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés se atribuye a la poca asignación de maestros especializados, el poco apoyo y supervisión de los padres en las actividades curriculares de sus hijos. Este trabajo investigativo abordó un enfoque mixto dado que se combinó técnicas cualitativas y cuantitativas, el cual logró identificar desafíos y beneficios, recopilando datos sobre su eficacia. Por ende, el uso de flashcards interactivas es una estrategia efectiva para mejorar el vocabulario en el idioma inglés, en este caso para estudiantes kichwa hablantes, por lo tanto, esta es una herramienta valiosa para optimizar el aprendizaje en los estudiantes | |
