| dc.description | This research project focuses on the development of innovative teaching materials to enhance working memory in high school children at the "Ángel Polibio Chaves" Educational Unit in Guaranda, Bolívar Province, during the period from 2025. Working memory is a fundamental cognitive skill that allows students to temporarily retain and manipulate information, thus facilitating the learning of essential concepts and skills. However, a lack of adequate teaching resources has been identified in the educational context analyzed, which limits children's potential to achieve optimal academic performance. Through a qualitative methodology, this study seeks to design teaching materials that are not only engaging and creative, but also grounded in pedagogical and neurocognitive theories. An intervention is proposed that includes playful and manipulative strategies that encourage children's active participation and promote meaningful learning. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto de investigación se centra en el desarrollo de material didáctico innovador para potenciar la memoria de trabajo en niños de preparatoria en la Unidad Educativa "Ángel Polibio Chaves" de Guaranda, Provincia de Bolívar, durante el período 2025. La memoria de trabajo es una habilidad cognitiva fundamental que permite a los estudiantes retener y manipular información temporalmente, facilitando así el aprendizaje de conceptos y habilidades esenciales. Sin embargo, se ha identificado una carencia de recursos pedagógicos adecuados en el contexto educativo analizado, lo que limita el potencial de los niños para alcanzar un rendimiento académico óptimo. A través de una metodología cualitativa, este estudio busca diseñar materiales didácticos que no solo sean atractivos y creativos, sino que también estén fundamentados en teorías pedagógicas y neurocognitivas. | |
