Abstract
El estudio realizado con estudiantes de quinto año de educación básica de la Escuela Ángel
Polibio Chaves en la Provincia Bolívar-Cantón Guaranda tiene como objetivo mejorar el
aprendizaje de las ciencias naturales utilizando técnicas de autocontrol. Consideramos esencial
investigar cómo las técnicas de autocontrol podrían ayudar en la regulación de emociones y
comportamientos negativos que surgen en el entorno del aprendizaje. Con el objetivo de desarrollar
un sistema educativo enfocado en las necesidades de los estudiantes que ayude a mejorar el sistema
de aprendizaje en las ciencias naturales, los resultados obtenidos por medio de técnicas de
recopilación de información han demostrado una mejora significativa en la calidad del aprendizaje.
El enfoque usado en la investigación es de carácter mixto necesario para lograr una mejor
comprensión de la problemática abordada favoreciendo a la exploración subjetiva del problema.
En conclusión, el uso de estrategias que fomentan el autocontrol centradas en el desarrollo de los
estudiantes en las ciencias naturales tiene el potencial de crear un entorno de conciencia que mejore
el rendimiento académico y fomente las habilidades de pensamiento crítico que permitan la
resolución de problemas en una variedad de contextos educativos.
Description
The study conducted with students in the fifth year of basic education at the Angel
Polibio Chaves School in the Bolívar Province-Canton Guaranda aims to improve the learning
of natural sciences using self-control techniques. We consider it essential to investigate how
self-control techniques could help in the regulation of emotions and negative behaviors that
arise in the learning environment. With the aim of developing an educational system focused
on the needs of the students that would help improve the learning and learning system in the
natural sciences, the results obtained by means of collection and information techniques have
shown a significant ímprobamente in the quality of learning. The approach used in the research
is of a mixed character necessary to achieve a better understanding of the problem addressed,
favoring the subjective understanding and exploration of the problem. In conclusion, the use
of strategies that foster self-monitoring focused on students' development in the natural
sciences has the potential to create an environment of awareness that improves academic
performance and fosters critical thinking skills that enable problem solving in a variety of
educational contexts
