Abstract
En la presente investigación, se planteó como objetivo general describir el “Uso de las redes sociales para el ejercicio periodístico de los afiliados en el Colegio de Periodistas de Bolívar,”
Por medio de las plataformas de interacción social. Para lo cual, se centró en el análisis actual del uso de las redes sociales mediante un estudio tipo bibliográfico para recabar la información a través de libros, artículos científicos, revistas, archivos electrónicos, periódicos como soporte investigativo; descriptivo para el conocimiento del objeto de estudio; de campo para la obtención de datos por medio de la encuesta aplicada a 64 docentes del Colegio de Periodistas de Bolívar y entrevistas a diferentes representantes de la institución. Una recopilación de información se inició con la tabulación de datos por tablas y gráficos estadísticos con la utilización del Software SPSS. Como resultados se obtuvo la existencia de algunas deficiencias en la usabilidad de la red social y con esto un desbalance en el periodismo ya que, varios profesionales no están a la vanguardia de la tecnología, por esto, se diseñó un manual de uso de las redes sociales para mejorar las técnicas al utilizarse.

In té present investigation, the general objective was to describe the “Use of social networks for the journalistic exercise of members of the Bolívar.” College of Journalists through social interaction platforms. For which, it focused on the analysis of the current situation of the use of social networks through a bibliographic study to collect information through books, scientific articles, magazines, electronic files, newspapers as investigative support; descriptive for the knowledge of the object of study; field to obtain data through the survey applied to 64 teachers of the College of Journalists of Bolívar and interviews with different representatives of the institution. A compilation of the information began with the tabulation of data by tables and statistical graphs with the use of the SPSS Software. As a result, the existence of some deficiencies in the usability of the social network was obtained and with this an imbalance in journalism since several professionals are not at the forefront of technology, for this reason, a user manual for the networks was designed. social to improve the techniques to be used.
