dc.descriptionThe work started from the ill-advised practice of control maintained by the Fondo Ecuatoriano Populorum Progressio Regional - Guaranda. For this, strategies of predecessor studies that support the research process a scientific sustenance to the variables were established. Through a bibliographic, descriptive and field investigation, a diagnosis was made about the current situation and immersed factors of the object of study. Also, techniques and instruments were applied such as the survey, interview, and observation directed to all the staff of the Regional-Guaranda. All this information obtained was processed in the Microsoft Excel computer program, which allowed me to determine qualitatively and quantitatively the percentages for each one of the questions representing, through tables and statistical graphs, the data resulting from the process. After this processing I was able to present conclusions that, in summary, demonstrated the need to improve control of the assets owned by the foundation, in terms of the recommendation proposes the design of a control system for asset assets, plant and equipment, in which policies, norms, forms and procedures are proposed that would improve the administrative management of the Regional-Guaranda. dc.description.abstractEl trabajo partió de la desacertada práctica de control que se mantiene el Fondo Ecuatoriano Populorum Progressio Regional - Guaranda. Para ello, se fijaron estrategias de estudios predecesores que apoyan al proceso de investigación un sustento científico a las variables. Por medio de investigaciones como bibliográfica, descriptiva y de campo se realizó un diagnóstico sobre la situación actual y factores inmersos del objeto de estudio. También, se aplicaron técnicas e instrumentos como la encuesta, entrevista, y observación dirigida a todo el personal de la Regional-Guaranda. Toda esta información obtenida fue procesada en el programa informático Microsoft Excel, mismo que me permitió determinar en forma cualitativa y cuantitativa los porcentajes para cada una de las preguntas representando por medio de tablas y gráficos estadísticos los datos resultantes del proceso. Finalizada este procesamiento me fue posible presentar conclusiones que, en resumen, demostraron la necesidad de mejorar el control los bienes que posee la fundación, en cuanto a la recomendación propone el diseño de un sistema de control de bienes de activos propiedades, planta y equipo, en el que se plantean políticas, normas, formularios y procedimientos que mejorarían la gestión administrativa de la Regional-Guaranda.
