So, once the diagnosis is known, the problem identified is the lack of a management policy in line with Ministerial agreement N° 004-10 which promotes the implementation of kiosk at high schools under a process of a sanitarian and nutritional control of food. This problem has obviously affected on the academic performance of students at the Instituto Superior Guaranda. The Chapter 1, presents the concepts and definitions of terminology used through this research, as well as, the scientific information required to clarify and strengthen the variables that take part of the problem through of a hypothetic- deductive study. That is why, its order contains references relating to the management which is defined as the discipline that guides and integrates the processes of planning, attract, dynamize, organize human talent and manage resources always focusing on the project and the achievement of goals, within a deadline and taking into consideration defined costs. Also explains the monitoring phases of the management policy regarding the scientific criteria of illustrious researchers in the field, such as: Menguzzato, Anthony R., Amat J., M. Gonzalez, F. Taylor, H. Gantt, Gilbreth, F., Farol, H., M. Weber, among others, who think that the administrative process is the outcome achieved from the interaction of its elements such as: planning, organization, execution and control. Finally shows issues related to nutrition, feeding, sanitarian control and school performance among other aspects. The chapter II, presents the methodology and its different types of intellectual research like methods, techniques, processes and procedures used for the development of this scientific inquiry. Also shows the population of the institution used as the universe investigated and the application of research tools. From the problematic identified during the phase of diagnosis, strategies and actions has been set out in order to solve inconsistencies regarding the deficient infrastructure of kiosk, indifference of authorities, intellectual deficiency of students, wrong eating habits, lack of hygiene of the staff in charge of the service, inefficient administration, lack of nutritional studies, political intransigence towards the implementation of non- customary measures at kiosk, and lack of sanitarian and nutritional knowledge of people responsible for the sale of food. It also includes the recognition of the Ministerial Agreement 004 -10, and a variety of nutritional products with food and ancient meals that displays a list of nutrients and indicators of excess, which allows to show the methods of food preservation and the right products for consumption. The Chapter III, presents the analysis and interpretation of results, beginning by a survey focused on teachers from the high school. This process demonstrates that 100% of teachers agree that the products sold at the kiosk does not have labels of quality or sanitarian standards, therefore, a high number of students suffers from obesity, acne and fatigue. These factors have directly affected the students learning process and consequently their academic performance. Moreover, the survey shows that teachers from this high school are aware that the products sold in the kiosk don´t have nutritional compounds and also recognize that are harmful for the health of students. That´s the reason they strongly believe it is necessary to promote a massive campaign in order to change the eating habits of students, replacing organic food instead of junk foods, typical from the region, rich in vitamins and proteins and other substances which are important for an appropriate physical and mental development of students. Concerning the students surveyed, the results reveal that 100% of them know that the products they consume are not nutritious and that damage their health. Also express their disagreement regarding the kind of food sold at high school because they consider it, as one of the factors that could cause multiple health disorders due to the poor nutrition they receive. That´s why they think that the high school authorities must promote health and nutrition measures focused on the construction of a healthy feeding culture and on the intellectual growth of students whose results could be reflected in their scholar performance. On the other hand, it is regrettable to realize that the owners of the kiosk are totally unaware of the rules and policies of management, regulation, measurement and control of their activities. The lack of knowledge with regard to the administrative and management standards of hygiene, health and quality of food preparation and its subsequent organization for sale, once further evidences the need to organize courses, seminars and workshops to train students, kiosk administrators and authorities about the importance of a proper nutrition during the educational process. Meanwhile, the authorities from the Instituto Superior Guaranda agree that it is fundamental take appropriate action to reduce the risks caused by the kiosk in schools. Similarly, the need to eradicate the problem arose once again, through the direct intervention of all those involved in the educational community in order to improve the infrastructure, implement standards of hygiene and the selection of the right food that must be sold at high school.
