Abstract
El Hospital Básico Privado San Patricio, presento dificultades en el control de insumos y medicamentos debido al uso de registros manuales y hojas de cálculo, lo que generó inconsistencias en los inventarios, pérdidas por caducidad y retrasos en la generación de reportes. Para superar estas deficiencias se diseñó e implemento un sistema web de gestión hospitalaria que automatizó el registro de entradas y salidas, permitió controlar el stock en tiempo real, emitir alertas de caducidad y mínimo de abastecimiento y generar reportes estadísticos que apoyaron la toma de decisiones. La investigación se enmarcó en un enfoque descriptivo-cuantitativo, empleando entrevistas estructuradas, cuestionarios y observación directa en el levantamiento de requerimientos. El desarrollo del sistema se realizó con la metodología ágil Scrum, dividida en cuatro sprints lo que permitió entregar versiones incrementales y validarlas con los usuarios. La solución tecnológica se implementó con el framework Laravel, bajo el patrón Modelo-Vista-Controlador (MVC), complementada con Livewire, Bootstrap y MySQL, garantizando su escalabilidad, seguridad y facilidad de uso. Entre las funcionalidades implementadas destacaron: autenticación por roles (Gerente del
hospital, Médico, Bodeguero), control de inventario con semaforización, registro completo de entradas y salidas, y generación de reportes en formatos PDF y Excel. Las pruebas confirmaron que el sistema mejoró la precisión del inventario, evitó pérdidas económicas ya agilizó procesos internos. En conclusión, el sistema web cumple con los objetivos planteados y fortalece la gestión hospitalaria. Se recomienda mantener las rutinas de capacitación y respaldo de información para garantizar lacontinuidad operativa.
Description
Basic Private Hospital, presented difficulties in the control of inputs and drugs due to the use of manual records and spreadsheets, which generated inconsistencies in inventories, losses due to expiration and delays in the generation of reports. To overcome these deficiencies, a hospital management web system was designed and implemented that automated the registration of entries and exits, allowed to control the stock in real time, issue expiration alerts and minimum supply and generate statistical reports that supported decision making. The research was framed in a descriptive-quantitative approach, using structured interviews, questionnaires and direct observation in the survey of requirements. The development of the system was carried out with the Agile Scrum methodology, divided into four sprints which allowed to deliver incremental versions and validate them with users. The technological solution was implemented with the Laravel framework, under the Model- View-Controller (MVC) pattern, complemented with Livewire, Bootstrap and MySQL, guaranteeing its scalability, security and ease of use. Among the implemented functionalities were: Authentication by roles (Hospital Manager, Doctor, Winery), inventory control with traffic lights, complete registration of inputs and outputs, and generation of reports in PDF and Excel formats. Tests confirmed that the system improved inventory accuracy, avoided economic losses and streamlined internal processes. In conclusion, the web system meets the objectives set and strengthens hospital management. It is recommended to maintain training and information backup routines to ensure operational continuity.
