dc.descriptionThrough the work carried out, it was sought to determine the contribution of the economic activity of corn production in the socio - economic development of the Santa Fe parish, through the analysis of the production process identifying the resources, generation of work places indicators that they allow measuring the incidence generated by the production of corn (jobs); thus being able to generate an informative document describing the reality of this activity in the sector. In order to develop adequate research guidelines were established to direct the process through clear objectives such as: theoretically substantiate this allowed through the application of the bibliographic study access documents, projects, theses, reports that make known in particular the components of the object of study and thus elucidate on the elements to be studied. To gather information about the activity going to the place where it is developed for which it was pertinent to apply the field research and to use an information gathering technique such as the survey developed based on the two variables identified, allowing quantifying each of these and being able to understand the problem under study. With the information gathered, a report was developed on all the components that made up the object of study, thus making known the contribution to social economic development, since it reflects information on economic movement, employment generation, economic growth (utilities), production levels. dc.description.abstractPor medio del trabajo realizado se buscó determinar la contribución que tiene la actividad económica de producción de maíz en el desarrollo económico – social de la parroquia Santa Fe, a través del análisis del proceso de producción identificando los recursos, generación de plazas de trabajo indicadores que permiten medir la incidencia que genera la producción de maíz (plazas de empleo); pudiendo así generar un documento informativo en donde se describa la realidad de esta actividad en el sector. Con el propósito de desarrollar la investigación adecuada se establecieron lineamientos que direccionen el proceso por medio de objetivos claros como: fundamentar teóricamente esto permitió por medio de la aplicación del estudio bibliográfico acceder a documentos, proyectos, tesis, informes que den a conocer de forma particular los componentes del objeto de estudio y así dilucidar sobre los elementos a estudiarse. Levantar información sobre la actividad acudiendo al lugar mismo donde se desarrolla para lo cual fue pertinente aplicar la investigación de campo y emplear una técnica de recolección de información como es la encuesta desarrollada en función a las dos variables identificadas permitiendo cuantificar cada una de estas y poder entender el problema en estudio. Con la información recabada se procedió a desarrollar un reporte de todos los componentes que conformaron el objeto de estudio dando así a conocer la contribución al desarrollo económico social, ya que se refleja información sobre movimiento económico, generación de empleo, crecimiento económico (utilidades), niveles de producción.
