dc.descriptionClinical mentoring is a fundamental pillar in the training of nursing interns, as it facilitates the integration of theory and clinical practice. To understand the experiences of nursing interns regarding clinical mentoring as a basis for developing skills that bridge theory and supervised practice, thereby strengthening their professional training. A qualitative study with a phenomenological approach was conducted using semistructured interviews with 40 rotating nursing interns from Bolívar State University, from the cohorts of May 2025–April 2026 and September 2025–August 2026. Atlas.Ti 7.5 software was used for data analysis. Four categories were identified: perceptions and expectations regarding the role of clinical mentoring; pedagogical effectiveness and practical support; interpersonal relationships and professional role development; and proposals for improvement and organizational structure. From these, 14 subcategories emerged. From the perspective of nursing interns, clinical supervision is a comprehensive training process that integrates theoretical and practical learning, supsupervisory support, and the strengthening of professional, emotional, and ethical skills.
dc.description.abstractLa tutoría clínica es un pilar fundamental en la formación de los internos rotativos de enfermería, al facilitar la integración entre la teoría y la práctica clínica. Comprender las experiencias de los internos rotativos de enfermería sobre la tutoría clínica como base para el desarrollo de habilidades entre la teoría y la práctica supervisada, fortaleciendo su formación profesional. Investigación cualitativa de enfoque fenomenológico, se emplearon entrevistas semiestructuradas a 40 internos rotativos de enfermería de la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar, cohortes mayo 2025 - abril 2026 y septiembre 2025 - agosto 2026. Para el procesamiento de los datos se utilizó el software Atlas. Ti 7.5. Se identificaron cuatro categorías: percepción y expectativas del rol de la tutoría clínica; eficacia pedagógica y acompañamiento práctico, relación interpersonal y desarrollo del rol profesional; propuestas de mejora y estructura organizacional. De estas surgieron 14 subcategorías. La tutoría desde la experiencia de los internos de enfermería es un proceso de formación integral donde se articula el aprendizaje teórico-práctico, el acompañamiento tutorial y el fortalecimiento de habilidades profesionales, emocionales y éticas.
