Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la factibilidad para la creación de un
Centro de Formación Técnica Automotriz en la parroquia La Ecuatoriana, del Distrito
Metropolitano de Quito, provincia de Pichincha, con el propósito de fortalecer las competencias
técnicas de estudiantes, trabajadores y personas interesadas en el sector automotriz. La
investigación se desarrolló mediante un enfoque mixto, con predominio cuantitativo, apoyado
en una investigación descriptiva y exploratoria. Para la recolección de información se aplicó
una encuesta estructurada a la población objetivo.
Los resultados evidenciaron una demanda insatisfecha de capacitación técnica automotriz y
una alta aceptación de los potenciales usuarios hacia la implementación del centro de
formación. El estudio técnico definió los recursos físicos, tecnológicos y humanos necesarios
para su funcionamiento, mientras que el estudio organizacional estableció la estructura
administrativa y la forma jurídica del proyecto. El estudio financiero determinó una inversión
inicial de USD 12.700,00 y confirmó la factibilidad económica mediante un Valor Actual Neto
(VAN) de USD 34.378,38, una Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) del 89,1 %, una Relación
Beneficio/Costo de 1,13 y un Período de Recuperación de la Inversión de 1 año y 38 días,
indicadores que evidencian la rentabilidad y viabilidad del proyecto.
En conclusión, la creación del Centro de Formación Técnica Automotriz constituye una
alternativa factible y sostenible para fortalecer el talento humano, mejorar la empleabilidad y
atender las necesidades de capacitación del sector automotriz en la parroquia La Ecuatoriana

The objective of this research was to determine the feasibility of establishing an Automotive
Technical Training Center in La Ecuatoriana Parish, Metropolitan District of Quito, Pichincha
Province, with the purpose of strengthening the technical skills of students, workers, and
individuals interested in the automotive sector. The study was conducted using a mixedmethods approach, with a quantitative emphasis, supported by descriptive and exploratory
research. A structured survey was administered to the target population to collect the required
information.
The results revealed an unmet demand for automotive technical training and a high level of
acceptance among potential usersregarding the implementation of the proposed training center.
The technical study identified the physical infrastructure, technological resources, equipment,
and human talent required for its operation, while the organizational study established the
administrative structure and the most appropriate legal framework for the project. The financial
study determined an initial investment of USD 12,700.00 and confirmed the project's economic
feasibility through a Net Present Value (NPV) of USD 34,378.38, an Internal Rate of Return
(IRR) of 89.1%, a Benefit-Cost Ratio (B/C) of 1.13, and a Payback Period of 1 year and 38
days, demonstrating the project's profitability and financial viability.
In conclusion, the establishment of the Automotive Technical Training Center represents a
feasible and sustainable alternative for strengthening human talent, improving employability,
and addressing the technical training needs of the automotive sector in La Ecuatoriana Parish.
