Abstract
La presente investigación se la realizó con el objetivo de diseñar una ruta agro-turística
para la contribución al desarrollo turístico de la Finca Integral el Balsal en la parroquia
de Ciano, provincia de Loja, mediante una metodología de carácter exploratoria,
descriptiva, bibliográfica y de campo, en el cual se utilizaron técnicas de observación
directa a través de un diagnóstico situacional donde se identificó 12 atractivos turísticos
de los cuales 6 son de categoría natural y los restantes son de categoría cultural que
sirven de soporte para captar el potencial turístico que posee la zona, otra de las técnicas
utilizadas fueron las encuestas que fueron aplicadas a 245 personas para conocer el
perfil turístico que visita el cantón Puyango, donde se destacó que el grupo etario que
más frecuenta la zona está entre los 15 y 25 años de edad, quienes se interesan por el
agroturismo, actividades recreativas y de aventura que les permite desarrollar sus
actividades turísticas; cabe recalcar que el diseño de la ruta cubrirá las necesidades de
los turistas potenciales,su elaboración se basó mediante fichas técnicas que
contribuyeron a la elaboración este producto donde se estableció un guion
interpretativo que señala la trayectoria del circuito y a su vez se estructura mediante un
itinerario.

Description
This research was carried out with the objective of designing an agro-tourist route to
contribute to the tourist development of the Finca Integral el Balsal in the parish of
Ciano, province of Loja, through an exploratory, descriptive, bibliographic, and camp
research, in which direct observation techniques were used for a situational diagnosis
which identified 12 tourist attractions, six of which are natural and the rest are cultural,
which serve as support to capture the tourist potential of the area. Another technique
used was the application of surveys to 245 people to find out the tourist profile of
visitors to the canton of Puyango, where it was highlighted that the age group that most
frequents this area is between 15 and 25 years of age, who are interested in agrotourism,
recreational and adventure activities that allow them to develop their tourist activities.
It should be highlighted that the design of the route will cover the needs of potential
tourist, its elaboration was based on technical sheets that contributed to the
development of this project where an interpretive script was established that indicates
the trajectory of the circuit which simultaneously is structured by means of an itinerary.
