| dc.description | The present investigation was carried out in the Caschca Totoras Protective Forest of the Santiago Parish, Bolívar province, which is an exponent of tourism and conservation due to the richness of its flora and fauna. That is why the objective of the research was to develop a feasibility analysis for the implementation of an Environmental Interpretation Center in the Cashca Totoras Protected Forest. To meet the aforementioned objective, qualitative and action research has been used, through field research an analysis of the current situation of the forest under study was carried out. The documentary investigation is improved for the collection of real data that allows the location to be detected. In addition, through the application of interviews with key actors and direct observation, relevant information could be obtained. The program used to represent the interpretation center was AUTOCAD. In the Cashca Totoras Forest the flora and fauna are native and endemic. The creation of an interpretive ecological trail is proposed, which will be called "The Chaquiñán de Cashca trail". With the implementation of this site, conservation measures of the protective forest are promoted. The physical space will be 244.15 m2 where visitors will be encouraged to create environmental, tourist and cultural awareness, and will provide understandable information about the place and its attractions. For the feasibility of this center, the opinion of the local actors is considered, obtaining positive responses for its implementation. | dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se realizó en el Bosque Protector Cashca Totoras de la Parroquia Santiago, provincia Bolívar el cual es un exponente turístico y de conservación debido a la riqueza florística y faunística que posee. Es por ello que, el objetivo de la investigación fue elaborar un análisis de factibilidad para la implementación de un centro de interpretación ambiental en el Bosque Protector Cashca Totoras. Para cumplir con mencionado objetivo se ha utilizado la investigación cualitativa y de acción, mediante la investigación de campo se realizó un análisis de la situación actual del bosque en estudio. La investigación documental se utilizó para la recolección de datos reales que permiten diagnosticar el lugar. Además, a través de la aplicación de entrevistas a actores claves y la observación directa, se pudo obtener información relevante. El programa utilizado para representar el centro de interpretación fue AUTOCAD. En el Bosque Cashca Totoras la flora y fauna son nativas y endémicas. Se propone la creación de un sendero ecológico interpretativo el cual se denominará “El sendero Chaquiñán de Cashca”. Con la implementación de este sitio se fomenta las medidas de conservación del bosque protector. El espacio físico será de 244.15 m2 donde se fomentará la creación de conciencia ambiental, turística y cultural a los visitantes, y brinda información entendible del lugar y sus atractivos. Para la factibilidad de este centro se considera la opinión de los actores de la localidad, obteniendo respuestas positivas para su implementación.
