Resumen : Values Education in meaningful learning is a very important content at the present time, since the universal level there is a value-related crisis at all levels of education, which is why through the SWOT analysis, has been diagnosed in Imbabura Mixed Fiscal School of St. Andrew Parish, therefore remains an issue of concern is research that will serve as reference for promoting education in values within and outside the classroom. Values education is to teach by example and teach moral values because the individual to act as child, youth and man, to establish hierarchies among things through them become convinced that something important or not important, aims to achieve new ways of understanding life, to build personal and collective history, it also promotes respect for all securities and options. Teaching values is also educating students to be oriented and know the real value of things, the people involved believe that life has meaning, recognize and respect the dignity of all human beings and respect for nature. The values can be made, discovered and built by man, for that is its pedagogical importance, this integration, implementation, discovery are three basic pillars of any educational work, they need the participation of the entire educational community in a coherent and effective. Is systematic work through which and through actions and practices on our campus can develop those values that are explicit in our Constitution as the basis for any kind of values education. Once the students internalize the values, they become guides and behavior patterns are treated freely and allow us to define the goals of life we have, helps us to accept and cherishing as we are, the school must help build criteria make the right decisions and guide our lives, these decision-making occurs when we face a conflict of values, another objective of this education is to help students in the process of developing and acquiring the skills to feel, think and act , as we see not only an education that seeks to integrate into the community but goes beyond seeking autonomy, the critical capacity to make decisions in an ethical conflict. In chapter one we deal with the scientific framework as the legal, conceptual and contextual, that gives us the complete picture of the scientific and theoretical understanding of investigative work, they allow content to know a topic. In the second chapter discusses the methodological strategy, namely the application of various methods, techniques and procedures for collecting information about where the problem exists, educational institution that will get data of importance in the research process. SWOT matrix was applied to teachers to determine the problem under investigation, we applied inductive and deductive methods, analytic, synthetic, scientific, comparative, statistical, dialectical, etc..in the analysis of the different categories, concepts, indicators are specific questions regarding the interpretations and actions on values education in meaningful learning in the School of San Andrés Fiscal Imbabura. In chapter three we present the analysis and interpretation of the results of surveys of teachers, students, parents, Mixed Fiscal School Imbabura. In chapter four we present the conclusions and recommendations of the socioeducational research. And finally chapter five we present a methodology for the teaching of values education at the basic level of campus.
