Resumen :	Para las universidades en la actualidad resulta necesario mantener información bibliográfica actualizada y disponible para los miembros de la comunidad universitaria tanto en forma física como virtual, facilitando que estos accedan a la información sin limitación de tiempo y espacios, asegurándose de que los estudiantes y docentes cuenten con la información de calidad científica actualizada. En ese sentido el objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la pertinencia del acervo bibliográfico institucional para la Carrera de Enfermería de la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar. Para ello se aplicó como metodología un enfoque cuantitativo, a nivel descriptivo, no experimental, exploratorio, aplicando como instrumento de recolección de información guías de análisis documental y matriz de síntesis. Obteniendo como resultado que el acervo bibliográfico es significativo contando con cerca de 10.693 libros en físico y en digital, relativos a la carrera de Enfermería, de los cuales la mayoría se encontraban relacionado principalmente con el área de Gerontología, Salud, Enfermería, Psiquiatría, Farmacología, entre otros. Estos recursos principalmente corresponden al año 2006 (14.2%), 2009 (11.1%), 2005 (8.5%) mientras que la bibliografía de los años 2018 a 2020 representa el 4.2% de todo el acervo. En el período 2019-2021 se han registrado 3.519 accesos de docentes, 104.693 estudiantes y 19510 usuarios registrados como administrativos/egresados. Concluyendo que es pertinente el acervo bibliográfico según la bibliografía básica y complementaria del sílabo de cada una de las asignaturas, identificando una pertinencia del 63.3% de las bibliografías indicadas por los docentes en sus sílabos con el actual acervo de la biblioteca para la Carrera de Enfermería. Es importante mencionar que se recomienda al Centro de Recursos para el Aprendizaje y la Investigación que de manera permanente socialice a los docentes la bibliografía disponible por área, en particular a inicio de ciclo durante el proceso de planificación de los sílabos, así como también a los estudiantes para que cuenten con acceso a material de calidad. Descripción :	ABSTRACT For universities today it is necessary to maintain updated bibliographic information available to members of the university community both physically and virtually, facilitating their access to information without limitation of time and space, ensuring that students and teachers have with updated scientific quality information. In this sense, the objective of this research was to determine the relevance of the institutional bibliographic heritage for the Nursing Career of the State University of Bolívar. Obtaining as a result that the bibliographic heritage is significant, with about 10,693 physical and digital books, related to the Nursing career, of which the majority were mainly related to the area ofGerontology, Health, Nursing, Psychiatry, Pharmacology , among others. These resources mainly correspond to the year 2006 (14.2%), 2009 (11.1%), 2005 (8.5%), while the bibliography from the years 2018 to 2020 represents 4.2% of the entire collection. In the 2019-2021 period, there have been 3,519 accesses by teachers, 104,693 students and 19,510 users registered as administrative/graduates. Concluding that the bibliographic collection is pertinent according to the basic and complementary bibliography of the syllabus of each of the subjects, identifying a relevance of 63.3% of the bibliographies indicated by the teachers in their syllables with the current collection of the library for the Nursing Career . It is important to mention that the Resource Center for Learning and Research is recommended to permanently socialize the available bibliography by area to teachers, particularly at the beginning of the cycle during the syllabus planning process, as well as to teachers. students so that they have access to quality material.
