Resumen :	En Ecuador la actividad turística se ha venido fortaleciendo a lo largo de los últimos años, teniendo como grandes referentes de lugares turísticos a la ciudad de Baños, ciudad de Cuenca y las Islas Galápagos, las cuales tienen el mayor número de ingresos económicos por concepto de Turismo en el país y su desarrollo se debe a la actividad turística que se realiza en dichos lugares respectivamente, generando nuevas oportunidades de empleo, emprendimientos y negocios turísticos o complementarios. La provincia de Bolívar se encuentra en el centro del país y posee gran variedad de pisos climáticos, los mismos que contienen atractivos turísticos únicos que atraen a turistas nacionales, convirtiéndose en el sustento de varias familias teniendo como un gran ejemplo la Parroquia Balsapamba perteneciente al Cantón San Miguel, la cual los últimos a través de la actividad turística ha tenido un desarrollo y crecimiento considerable. La ciudad de Guaranda hoy en día posee gran variedad de atractivos turísticos e incluso cuenta con dos declaratorias de Patrimonios Culturales tanto por su fiesta del Carnaval como también por su Centro Histórico respectivamente siendo estos un punto a considerar para determinar que Guaranda tiene el potencial suficiente como para convertirse en un destino turístico. El presente trabajo investigativo desarrolla estrategias que fortalezcan la actividad turística de la ciudad de Guaranda, dichas estrategias surgen a partir de la elaboración de un estudio técnico que involucra un análisis FODA, CPES y Nudos críticos, a partir de datos recopilados previamente como el haber realizado un análisis de la oferta y demanda turística existente de la ciudad de Guaranda. Las estrategias propuestas en el presente proyecto investigativo permitirán a los actores públicos y privados del turismo en la ciudad de Guaranda contar con una herramienta que les ayude a fortalecer la actividad turística de la ciudad, recalcando que dicho empleo de estrategias permitirá atraer mayor afluencia de turistas a la ciudad trayendo consigo un impacto positivo para la economía del ciudadano y emprendedor guarandeño.
Descripción :	In Ecuador, the tourist activity has been strengthening over the last few years, having as great references of tourist places the city of Baños, Cuenca city and the Galapagos Islands, which have the highest number of economic income from Tourism in the country and its development is due to the tourist activity that takes place in these places respectively, generating new opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship and tourist or complementary businesses. The province of Bolívar is located in the center of the country and has a great variety of climatic floors, which contain unique tourist attractions that attract national tourists, becoming the livelihood of several families, having as a great example the Balsapamba Parish belonging to the Canton San Miguel, which in recent times through tourist activity has had considerable development and growth. The city of Guaranda today has a great variety of tourist attractions and even has two declarations of Cultural Heritage both for its Carnival party and also for its Historical Center respectively, these being a point to consider to determine that Guaranda has sufficient potential as to become a tourist destination. The present investigative work develops strategies that strengthen the tourist activity of the city of Guaranda, these strategies arise from the elaboration of a technical study that involves a SWOT, CPES and critical nodes analysis, from data previously collected such as having carried out an analysis of the existing tourism supply and demand in the city of Guaranda. The strategies proposed in this research project will allow public and private tourism actors in the city of Guaranda to have a tool that helps them strengthen the city's tourist activity, emphasizing that said use of strategies will attract a greater influx of tourists. to the city, bringing with it a positive impact for the economy of the Guarandeño citizen and entrepreneur.
