Resumen :	El proyecto etnográfico del patrimonio cultural de la parroquia La Asunción permitió la recopilación de información cultural de La Asunción y comunidades la cual sirve y servirá como fuente y recurso de información sobre sus costumbres, tradiciones que caracteriza a este pueblo, así también la parroquia cuenta con una diversidad de bienes culturales al igual que sus comunidades. Este trabajo de investigación está encaminado a recuperar, difundir y socializar la importancia de mantener y seguir practicando estas tradiciones culturales que son identidad de nuestra sociedad y país. Con esta investigación se recabo información y se pudo realizar diagnósticos de las comunidades y su situación patrimonial y cultural también identificar los elementos históricos existentes en la parroquia, tales como iglesia, casas y parque colonial con las visitas de campo se pudo observar los lugares de interés cultural se recopiló información con la ayuda de las entrevistas a los habitantes y autoridades principales de la parroquia y sus comunidades con preguntas etnográficas, que permitió a la gente, especialmente a los de tercera edad recordar sus anécdotas, leyendas, cuentos, juegos de cuando ellos eran niños y algunos que sus abuelos los habían contado fue realmente hermoso y gratificante ver reunidos a jóvenes, ancianos y niños riendo, conversando compartiendo esas historias y tiempos pasados y que lo cuenten y se dé a conocer a la población en general. Con ayuda de las fichas técnicas del Instituto Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural se obtuvo también datos de los elementos físicos existentes así como también relatos históricos hablados por algunos adultos mayores de las comunidades y parroquia central ahí relatan parte de su historia como parroquia el porqué de su nombre sus costumbres religiosas y más permitiéndome realizar inventarios de patrimonio cultural, la cual se podrá evidenciar mediante un video de los elementos culturales de la parroquia y comunidades que fueron tomadas como muestras para esta investigación.
Descripción :	The ethnographic Project of the Cultural Heritage of La Asunción allowed the collection of cultural information of the Asunción and its communities which serves and will help as a source and resource of information about its customs, traditions that characterize this town. This place has diversity of cultural assets as well as its communities. This research is aimed at recovering, disseminating and socializing the importantance of maintaining and continuing to practice these cultural traditions that are the identity of our society and country. With the information that was collected, it was posible to make diagnoses of the communities and their patrimonial and cultural situation also to identify the historical elements existing in the Asunción town, such as churche, house and colonial parks. With fields visits it was posible to observe the places of interest cultural information was collected with help of the interviews to the inhabitants and the main authorities of the town and its communities with ethnographic questions. The elderly people share their anecdotes, legends, stories, games that they used practice when they were children. It was beautiful to see old, young people and children laughing, talking, sharing those stories from the past times. The technical sheets from the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, made posible to get some information of the phisical elements as well as historical reports from the old people from the town and the communities. These people talked about the begining and the history of the towm, the reason of the name, the customs, religión and some more information that made posible to make an inventory of cultural hertage, which can be evidenced by a video of the cultural elments of the Asuncion town and the communities that were taken as samples of this research work.
