| dc.description | The research is focused on determining the origin of the kaukamote pseudonym, towards the inhabitants of San Miguel de Bolívar and their identification with it, up to the present. During the investigation a book was found that talks about the first inhabitants of San Miguel, some customs and the meaning of kauka is the book of Lic Edgar Gaibor Erazo "San Miguel de Bolívar through the centuries Volume 1 year 2014", this book was key to make this ethnography, in addition to the interviews conducted by Edgar Gaibor Erazo, Vicente Gaibor García, Fabio Espinosa, Mario Gaibor, Cesar Najera and Oscar Ramos served to obtain important information for the development of this study. Not having a physical or digital document that explains how this pseudonym or appellation was originated in San Miguel de Bolívar, a pseudonym for the writers and poets of the canton and appellative because it is the name by which the inhabitants of San Miguel are recognized for their qualities , its customs and traditions, the need arises to generate a document that guides the new generations in the knowledge of the origin of being called Kaukamotes, to maintain the identity of the Sanmigueleño and preserve the cultural essence of our canton and thus ensure that it lasts through time | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | La investigación está enfocada en determinar el origen del seudónimo kaukamote, hacia los habitantes de San Miguel de Bolívar y su identificación con el mismo, hasta la actualidad. Durante la investigación se encontró un libro que habla sobre los primeros habitantes de San Miguel, algunas costumbres y el significado de kauka es el libro del Lic Edgar Gaibor Erazo “San miguel de Bolívar a través de los Siglos volumen 1 año 2014”, este libro fue pieza clave para poder realizar esta etnografía, además las entrevistas realizadas a los licenciados Edgar Gaibor Erazo, Vicente Gaibor García, Fabio Espinosa, Mario Gaibor, Cesar Nájera y Oscar Ramos sirvieron para obtener información importante para el desarrollo de este estudio. Al no haber un documento físico o digital que explique cómo se originó este seudónimo o apelativo en San Miguel de Bolívar, seudónimo por los escritores y poetas del cantón y apelativo por ser el nombre con el que se les reconoce a los habitantes sanmigueleños por sus cualidades, sus costumbres y tradiciones, surge la necesidad de generar un documento que guie a las nuevas generaciones en el conocimiento del origen de ser llamados Kaukamotes, para mantener la identidad propia del sanmigueleño y conservar la esencia cultural de nuestro cantón y así lograr que perdure a través del tiempo. | en_US |
