Resumen :	El presente trabajo de investigación está orientado hacia la búsqueda de formas activas de enseñanza-aprendizaje del idioma inglés, desde esta perspectiva este trabajo se ha organizado partiendo de la selección del tema el que se ha sintetizado de la siguiente manera: Method Total Physical Response para desarrollar el listening and speaking en los niños de 10 a 11 años de la parroquia San Sebastián, cantón Chimbo, provincia Bolívar en el periodo 2016. Por otro lado en el cantón Chimbo, provincia Bolívar, de manera especial en la parroquia San Sebastián el Inglés de acuerdo a datos estadísticos se pudo constatar que el problema en el aprendizaje del idioma persiste. En muchos países de Sudamérica, el aprendizaje del inglés no ha logrado alcanzar resultados positivos en los últimos años. Este hecho se ha dado a conocer tras algunas investigaciones realizadas por especialistas en temas lingüísticos. Muchos de los errores de la enseñanza del inglés han permitido que las generaciones de estudiantes no puedan manejar un segundo idioma, otro aspecto que es importante destacar que las instituciones educativas tienen que ver con el erróneo intento de memorizar lo aprendido, mas no interiorizarlo y reflexionar acerca de la importancia que tiene el aprendizaje del inglés. El Inglés indiscutiblemente es la “lengua franca” del mundo en la actualidad, no sólo porque todas las actualizaciones de carácter tecnológico, científico, académico, e información social están escritas en Inglés, sino también para aprender hablar más de una lengua extranjera ya que es esencial dominar el Inglés con el fin de interactuar y comunicarse con el mundo globalizado de hoy, por lo tanto, la educación actual tiene el reto de contribuir al desarrollo de habilidades y destrezas en el mismo. La Respuesta Física Total (RFT, en inglés Total Physical Response, TPR) es un método de enseñanza de lenguas que combina el habla con la acción y propone enseñar la lengua a través de la actividad física. Este método es desarrollado por J. Asher, profesor de psicología de la Universidad Estatal de San José, California, el método se relaciona con la teoría de la memoria en psicología. Asher menciona que la conexión con la memoria puede ser más fuerte si se establece mediante la repetición verbal o a través de la asociación con una actividad motora. Este método hace uso de la técnica de órdenes o “commands”, es decir siguiendo instrucciones. La gramática se enseña de forma inductiva puesto que el método requiere que en un primer momento la atención este centrada en el significado El TPR es un método de enseñanza que incluye el conocimiento y los cinco sentidos del educando. Los niños ponen en escena o se mueven de acuerdo con lo que el profesor dice en ese momento, para ello se utiliza juegos con movimiento, comandos, escenas teatrales y canciones como por ejemplo “If you‟re happy and you know it, clap your hands...” (“Si estás contento y lo sabes aplaude"), los educandos viven y entienden los idiomas de manera intensa y global. Con este método se ha logrado motivar a los niños en el aprendizaje del idioma para ello hemos utilizado dinámicas, comandos, audio-videos, juegos lúdicos, flashcards etc. que han sido favorables para elevar el nivel de aprendizaje, finalmente podemos decir que hemos cumplido con nuestros objetivos propuestos obteniendo resultados positivos.

On the other, hand in the canton Chimbo, Bolívar province, especially in the parroquia San Sebastián the English according to statistical data it was verify the problem in the language learning persists. In many South American countries, learning English has not been successful in recent years. This fact has become known after some investigations carried out by specialists in linguistic subjects. Many of the errors of English teaching have allowed the generations of students to not be able to handle a second language, another aspect that is important to emphasize that educational institutions have to do with the erroneous attempt to memorize what has been learned, but not internalize it and reflect About the importance of learning English. English is indisputably the "lingua franca" of the world today, not only because all technological, scientific, academic, and social information updates are written in English, but also to learn to speak more of a foreign language as it is Essential to master the English in order to interact and communicate with the globalized world of today, therefore, the current education has the challenge of contributing to the development of skills and skills in it. Total Physical Response (RFT) is a method of language teaching that combines speech with action and proposes to teach the language through physical activity. J. Asher, professor of psychology at San Jose State University, California, develops a method the method relates to the theory of memory in psychology. We have used dynamics, commands, audio-videos, play games, flashcards and so on. Which have been favorable to raise the level of learning, we can finally say that we have met our objectives
