dc.descriptionAt the Km 1 1⁄2 Via Babahoyo-Jujan presents a threat as are floods in winter season by the increase of precipitation causing overflow in the estuary causing water increase on the road and in the community, The European Union has a long tradition of cooperation with the US and Japan. The main objective is to determine the level of social and economic community resilience to the flood threat, this allows us to know the level of response that people in the community have to an emergency and thus take measures to counteract the weaknesses that the community has. Flood events play a very important role in the management of water and land systems, causing economic losses and human lives. dc.description.abstractEn el Km 1 ½ Vía Babahoyo- Jujan se presenta una amenaza como son las inundaciones en temporada de invierno por el incremento de precipitación ocasionando desbordamiento en el estero causando aumento de agua en la vía y en la comunidad, produciendo pérdidas económicas tanto de bienes y en la agricultura. El objetivo principal es determinar el nivel de resiliencia comunitaria social y económica ante la amenaza inundación, el cual permite conocer el nivel de respuesta que tienen las personas de la comunidad ante una las inundaciones y así realizar medidas que contrarresten las debilidades con que cuenta la comunidad. Los eventos por inundación cumplen un rol muy importante en el ordenamiento de sistemas hídricos y territoriales, causando pérdidas económicas y de vidas humanas. Para obtener los datos de las precipitaciones se descargó de la plataforma Nasa Power – (Data Access Viewer), para identificar las áreas de afectación por inundación
