| dc.description | Influence peddling remains a persistent problem in institutions worldwide. International organizations and governance experts have highlighted the severity of this issue and its repercussions, eroding the integrity of public institutions and undermining citizens' trust in government administration. This research study analyzes the relationship between influence peddling and the selection and recruitment processes of human talent in public institutions in Ecuador. Structured surveys were administered to collect information, and statistical analysis techniques were employed to explore the relationships between variables. The results demonstrate a significant association, severity level, transparency, and impact on the quality of public service and the country's development. | es_MX |
| dc.description.abstract | El tráfico de influencias sigue siendo un problema persistente en las instituciones a nivel mundial. Organismos internacionales y expertos en gobernanza han resaltado la gravedad de este problema y sus repercusiones, erosionando la integridad de las instituciones públicas y socavando la confianza de los ciudadanos en la administración gubernamental. Este trabajo de investigación analiza la relación entre el tráfico de influencias y los procesos de selección y contratación de talento humano en las instituciones públicas del ecuador. Se aplicaron encuestas estructuradas para recolectar la información y técnicas de análisis estadístico para explorar las relaciones entre las variables. Los resultados demuestran una asociación significativa, nivel de gravedad, transparencia y afectación sobre la calidad del servicio público y el desarrollo del país. | es_MX |
