Resumen :	The main objective of this research is to conduct a market study to determine the feasibility of implementing projects in the field of real estate brokerage in the city of Riobamba through strategies that facilitate the purchase transaction - sale, financial intermediation, advice investment management and other services to meet the unmet needs of current competition. In the case of PEA, we worked with a sample population of 384, while in the case of representatives of real estate companies we worked with the entire population. The information was obtained through surveys. The results suggest that: Most companies are operating for a period of between 5-10 years capture around 50 customers or less, perform less than 100 transactions in cash and 60% of companies do not perform credit and financial intermediation and the few do they are with the IESS, preferring to work with low amounts and medium terms. Customers transacting business with real estate brokerage are average. The results in terms of profits have been bad or regular. The average age of the EAP is equivalent to 40.15 years, are married, with secondary or higher education. The average number of people per household is 4, the predominant economic activity is the trade in general, most are not clients of any brokerage firm real estate and financial intermediation would like to find, good service, comfortable interest rates. There is acceptance of the population for the opening of an office of real estate brokerage in the city of Riobamba.
