dc.descriptionThe financial sector has been affected by illegal actions, such as money laundering and the financing of crimes, including terrorism, and each of the control bodies of this system are obliged to create policies and establish procedures to minimize the risk that its resources are used for these crimes. The Comuna Quichua Verde Sumaco organization in adopting measures and best practices in terms of prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism in order to increase confidence in financial institutions in this sector. This study proposes that with the implementation of policies and procedures to minimize the risk of money laundering and terrorist financing in the cooperative financial system. Next, it was evidenced that the organization is unaware of the forensic audit and therefore its application as an internal control mechanism, likewise, it was found that they do not have trained personnel to carry out this procedure, consequently, the institution It has a deficient internal control, for this reason it was evaluated to determine the level of confidence and level of inherent risk taking into account the components of COSO II. Finally, it is recommended that the organization carry out constant training focused on preventive forensic auditing that helps detect and prevent fraudulent acts, likewise, the application of preventive forensic audit techniques and procedures is suggested to strengthen internal control, as well as Hiring highly trained personnel to face risks and take advantage of opportunities in the best possible way within the organizationes_MX
dc.description.abstractEl sector financiero se ha visto afectado por acciones no lícitas tanto como el lavado de activos y el financiamiento de delitos incluido el terrorismo y cada uno de los órganos de control de este sistema están obligados a crear políticas y establecer procedimientos para minimizar el riesgo de que sus recursos sean utilizados para estos delitos. La organización Comuna Quichua Verde Sumaco en adoptar medidas y mejores prácticas en materia de prevención del lavado de activos y financiamiento del terrorismo con la finalidad de incrementar la confianza en las instituciones financieras de este sector. Este estudio propone que con la implementación de políticas y procedimientos para logrará minimizar el riesgo de lavado de activos y financiamiento del terrorismo en el sistema financiero cooperativo.
