dc.descriptionThe present research project entitled "The didactic material for the strengthening of Cognitive Development during the Teaching-Learning process of mathematics in second-year students of Basic General Education of the Vicente Rocafuerte Educational Unit, Guanujo Parish, of the city of Guaranda , Province of Bolívar, during the period 2021-2022.” allowed us to realize one of the learning needs that students have due to ignorance and lack of use of teaching materials. The formulation of the problem mentioned as the ignorance of the didactic material hinders the cognitive development in the teaching-learning process of mathematics, this problem affects the low academic performance of the students and the little interest in learning mathematics. To achieve the research, the objectives were to determine the importance of the use of didactic material within the teaching-learning process of mathematics. Likewise, for the execution of this research, two fundamental variables have been considered where one depends on the other, such as the didactic material and cognitive development. Within the methodology, we worked with a quantitative approach that allowed us to investigate educational situations that allow us to seek improvement in the quality of student learning. Thanks to the investigated study, it was concluded that the didactic materials are very useful within the teaching-learning process, since students better assimilate significant learning, however, most teachers do not have sufficient knowledge. of the necessary materials to work in the area of Mathematics.es_MX
dc.description.abstractEste proyecto de investigación titulado “El material didáctico para el fortalecimiento del Desarrollo Cognitivo durante el proceso de Enseñanza Aprendizaje de la matemática en los estudiantes de segundo año de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa Vicente Rocafuerte, Parroquia Guanujo, de la ciudad de Guaranda, Provincia Bolívar, durante el periodo 2021-2022.” permitió darnos cuenta una de las necesidades de aprendizaje que tiene los estudiantes por el desconocimiento y la falta de utilización de materiales didácticos. La formulación del problema citado como el desconocimiento del material didáctico dificulta el desarrollo cognitivo en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de la matemática, este problema afecta en los estudiantes un bajo rendimiento académico y el poco interés por aprender la matemática. Para la consecución de la investigación se platearon como objetivos determinar la importancia del uso del material didáctico dentro del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de la matemática. Así mismo para la ejecución de esta investigación se ha considerado dos variables fundamentales donde una depende de la otra como es el material didáctico y el desarrollo cognitivo. Dentro de la metodología se trabajó con un enfoque cuantitativo que permitió indagar situaciones educativas que permitan buscar el mejoramiento de la calidad de aprendizaje de los educandos. Gracias al estudio investigado se llegó a la conclusión de que los materiales didácticos son de gran utilidad dentro del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, ya que los estudiantes asimilan de mejor manera los aprendizajes significativos, sin embargo, la mayoría de docentes no cuenta con el suficiente conocimiento de los materiales necesarios para trabajar en el área de Matemática.es_MX
