dc.descriptionThe present work is carried out with the purpose of knowing if the financial management affects the investment portfolio of the “Sumak Samy” Ltda. Savings and Credit Cooperative, Agency Guaranda that has 698 members that performs services such as fundraising and placement of resources financial of the partners and clients, is regulated by the law of Popular and Solidarity Economy. The staff of the cooperative does not have sufficient knowledge of a financial management that allows its growth, and that contributes to better decision making. In the present investigation the inductive method was applied which helped to regulate starting from several observations in the field of investigation of the particular to the general and the deductive method which allowed to analyze the theory of financial management and portfolio of investments within the entity . Within the investigation techniques, the survey was applied to the active members of the cooperative and the interview with the Head of the agency, which were analyzed and subsequently interpreted, revealing that there is ignorance about financial management, and that the members do not know Of the same. Due to the weakness found, a performance management model is collaborated, which will help the staff to analyze the financial operations that will be useful for making good decisions, it is also important to make the members known because they are an essential part of the cooperative. dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo se desarrolla con la finalidad de conocer si la gestión financiera incide en la cartera de inversiones de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito “Sumak Samy” Ltda., Agencia Guaranda que cuenta con 698 socios, la misma que presta servicios como captaciones y colocaciones de recursos financieros, se encuentra regulada por la ley de Economía Popular y Solidaria. El personal de la cooperativa no tiene conocimientos suficientes respecto a la gestión financiera que permita el crecimiento de la misma, y que contribuya a una mejor toma de decisiones. En la presente investigación se aplicó el método inductivo el cual ayudó a normar, partiendo de varias observaciones en el campo de investigación de lo particular a lo general y el método deductivo el cual permitió analizar la teoría de gestión financiera y cartera de inversiones dentro de la entidad. Dentro de las técnicas de investigación se aplicó la encuesta a los socios que obtuvieron un crédito en la cooperativa y la entrevista al jefe de agencia, las mismas que fueron analizadas y posteriormente interpretadas dando a conocer que existe desconocimiento acerca de la gestión financiera, y que los socios desconocen de la misma. Por la debilidad encontrada se colabora con un modelo de gestión por rendimiento, que ayudará al personal a analizar las operaciones financieras que servirá para una buena toma decisiones, es importante también dar a conocer a los socios porque ellos son parte fundamental de la cooperativa.
