Resumen :	El estudio denominado ―IMPACTO DE LA CARTERA VENCIDA EN LA SITUACIÓN FINANCIERA DE LA COOPERATIVA DE AHORRO Y CRÉDITO SALATE LTDA. PROVINCIA TUNGURAHUA CANTÓN SAN PEDRO DE PELILEO AÑO 2019‖ es desarrollado con la finalidad de conocer el impacto que genera esta problemática en la situación financiera de la cooperativa, para lo cual se requirió conocer la evolución de la cartera de crédito, aplicación de indicadores. Para el desarrollo de la investigación fue indispensable que la misma se estructure técnicamente en donde se conoció que la investigación es de tipo exploratoria dado que se realizan aproximaciones previas a fin de indagar la problemática que existe en la institución, posteriormente esta se constituye como descriptiva en función a que se busca conocer las características del fenómeno en estudio, al igual que bibliográfica, ya que se indaga en fuentes de esta índole a fin de crear las bases teóricas que permitan la adecuada determinación del enfoque del estudio, se ha empleado el trabajo de campo en donde se realiza el análisis de los reportes de la cooperativa a través de los cuales se obtiene la información que corresponde a cada objetivo. Este estudio ha permitido conocer aquellas características de los créditos, crédito de mayor demanda, crédito con problemas de morosidad y que generan el mayor porcentaje de cartera vencida al igual que el impacto que ha generado las variaciones de la cartera vencida durante el año en donde se ha concluido que los créditos de consumo ordinario son los que han generado mayor saldo de valores no devengados. Descripción :	The study called ―IMPACT OF THE PORTFOLIO EXPIRED IN THE FINANCIAL SITUATION OF THE COOPERATIVA DE AHORRO Y CRÉDITO SALATE LTDA. PROVINCE TUNGURAHUA CANTÓN SAN PEDRO DE PELILEO YEAR 2019‖ is developed with the purpose of knowing the impact generated by this problem in the financial situation of the cooperative, for which it was required to know the evolution of the credit portfolio, application of indicators. For the development of the research, it was essential that it be technically structured where it was known that the research is of an exploratory type since previous approaches are made in order to investigate the problem that exists in the institution, subsequently it is constituted as descriptive in function that seeks to know the characteristics of the phenomenon under study, as well as bibliographic, since it is investigated in sources of this nature in order to create the theoretical bases that allow the adequate determination of the focus of the study, field work was used where the analysis of the reports of the cooperative is carried out through which the information corresponding to each objective is obtained. This study has allowed to know those characteristics of the loans, credit of greater demand, credit with problems of delinquency and that generate the highest percentage of past due portfolio as well as the impact that the variations of the past due portfolio have generated during the year in which It has concluded that ordinary consumer loans are those that have generated the highest balance of unearned securities.
