Resumen :	Objetivo: Revelar experiencias de los Shamanes “Sanadores de la Medicina Ancestral” de la cuidad de Guaranda, para conocer sus prácticas ancestrales de sanación. Metodología: Investigación de tipo cualitativo, de diseño etnográfico, contó con la participación de 9 shamanes a quienes se les aplicó una entrevista a profundidad que permitió revelar las experiencias de sanación de los entrevistados. Las preguntas se agruparon en 5 categorías núcleo: Mi identidad cultural, mis saberes ancestrales, rituales de sanación, testimonio de sanación, sanando integralmente. Para el análisis se utilizó el software ATLAS TI, que categorizó los relatos en: jerarquías de códigos, memos y citas, previo la elaboración de la unidad hermenéutica. Resultados: Los shamanes revelan que sus prácticas son un don que tienen para sanar, que fue heredado de sus antepasados; en los rituales utilizan los productos de la naturaleza, las curas más practicadas son: mal de ojo, mal viento, mal aire, salamiento, mal bajo, aire pegado. Conclusiones: Los shamanes son conocidos como sanadores, yachak, curanderos, yerbateros; sus curaciones se centran en la sanación del alma y cuerpo y en cierta parte en el mundo oculto, para sus rituales utilizan plantas, que en su mayoría siembra en sus hogares. Descripción :	Objective: To reveal experiences of the Shamans "Healers of the Ancestral Medicine" of the city of Guaranda, to know their ancestral practices of healing. Methodology: Qualitative research, ethnographic design, with the participation of 9 shamans to whom an in-depth interview was applied to reveal the healing experiences of the interviewees. The questions were grouped into 5 core categories: My cultural identity, my ancestral knowledge, healing rituals, healing testimony, healing comprehensively. The ATLAS TI software was used for the analysis, which categorized the stories into: hierarchies of codes, memos and citations, prior to the elaboration of the hermeneutic unit. Results: The shamans reveal that their practices are a gift they have to heal, which was inherited from their ancestors; in the rituals they use the products of nature, the most practiced cures are: evil eye, bad wind, bad air, salting, bad low, air stuck. Conclusions: Shamans are known as healers, yachak, healers, herbalists; his cures focus on the healing of the soul and body and in a certain part of the occult world, for their rituals they use plants, which they mostly sow in their homes.
