Resumen :	Para el Estudio del Patrimonio Cultural del Centro Urbano de la Parroquia Guanujo del Cantón Guaranda, Provincia Bolívar, se ha desarrollado un estudio detallado de los bienes patrimoniales que son parte de la vida cotidiana, sus manifestaciones están conformadas de expresiones intangibles como son: rituales, orales, artesanías, fiestas y las tradicionales que interactúan en el entorno físico, social y simbólico, del patrimonio cultural entre en ellos con la naturaleza su cosmovisión. La investigación tiene un carácter etnográfico y su enfoque es descriptivo, puesto que se combinan elementos del patrimonio cultural y permite vincular las observaciones que realizan los habitantes de la parroquia identificando los elementos físicos y sociales que contribuye a su generación y permite articular finalmente el concepto de patrimonio. La investigación contiene lineamientos metodológicos y herramientas de investigación para describir y caracterizar el Patrimonio Cultural, se inició con el diagnóstico del patrimonio, se levantó un inventario del patrimonio cultural, material e inmaterial caracterizado y categorizado a través de un registro en fichas de inventario utilizada por el INPC, se ha podido encontrar las manifestaciones culturales inmateriales que se conservan vigentes en la memoria colectiva, recogiendo información a través de fuentes primarias y secundarias. El centro urbano de la parroquia Guanujo cuenta con un potencial recurso histórico; sus calles estrechas tradicionales hechas de piedra, sus casas pintorescas con techos de teja, pero principalmente su gente amable aquí crecieron y vivieron hombres y mujeres ilustres entre ellos Federico, Ulpiano y Adolfo Paliz, Elisa Egüez, Trinidad Camacho, los Doctores Roldan entre otros, hacen de este un lugar que atrae a propios y fuereños que permite un desarrollo económico a través de nuevas oportunidades de trabajo, desarrollando nuevas propuestas turísticas para los moradores. Los Guanujeños tienen una gran riqueza ancestral que permite dar a conocer sus costumbres, tradiciones de su pueblo a los visitantes. El estudio ha permitido recolectar información donde se identifican y describen los aspectos importantes que servirán para el adecuado manejo del recurso cultural y conecta a un desarrollo urbano, social y económico que contribuya positivamente a la calidad de vida de la parroquia.
Descripción :	For the Study of the Cultural Heritage of the Urban Center of the Guanujo Parish of Guaranda Canton, Bolívar Province, a detailed study has been developed of heritage assets that are part of everyday life, its manifestations are made up of intangible expressions such as: rituals, oral, crafts, festivals and the traditional ones that interact in the physical, social and symbolic environment, of the cultural heritage between them with nature, their worldview. The research has an ethnographic character and its approach is descriptive, since it combines elements of cultural heritage and allows to link the observations made by the inhabitants of the parish identifying the physical and social elements that contribute to their generation and allows to finally articulate the concept of heritage The research contains methodological guidelines and research tools to describe and characterize Cultural Heritage, began with the diagnosis of heritage, an inventory of cultural, material and immaterial heritage was characterized and categorized through a register in inventory cards used by The INPC, has been able to find intangible cultural manifestations that are still valid in the collective memory, collecting information through primary and secondary sources. The urban center of the Guanujo parish has a potential historical resource; its traditional narrow streets made of stone, its picturesque houses with tile roofs, but mainly its friendly people here grew and lived illustrious men and women including Federico, Ulpiano and Adolfo Paliz, Elisa Egüez, Trinidad Camacho, the Roldan Doctors among others, make this a place that attracts locals and outsiders that allows economic development through new job opportunities, developing new tourism proposals for residents. The Guanujeños have a great ancestral wealth that allows to make known their customs, traditions of their people to visitors. The study has allowed to collect information where important aspects that will serve for the proper management of the cultural resource are identified and described, and connect to an urban, social and economic development that positively contributes to the quality of life of the parish.
