Título :	Evaluación de la terapia combinada, miel de abeja y panela, en cirugías de ovariohisterectomía en caninas, y sus posibles alteraciones hematológicas

Resumen :	La presente investigación se realizó en la ciudad de Guaranda, provincia de Bolívar, tuvo como tema “Evaluación de la terapia combinada, miel de abeja y panela, en cirugías de ovariohisterectomía en caninas, y sus posibles alteraciones hematológicas” los objetivos fueron: Evaluar la efectividad de la terapia combinada, miel de abeja y panela, en la cicatrización de heridas, establecer el tiempo de cicatrización de heridas aplicando los diferentes tratamientos a base de miel de abeja y la panela y, evidenciar las posibles alteraciones hematológicas en la aplicación de los tratamientos T0, T1, T2 o T3. En la investigación se realizó 40 cirugías en caninos hembras de diferentes razas, edad y peso, se empleó tópicamente directo en la herida, la miel de abeja y la panela cada 12 horas después de las cirugías, se dividió en 4 grupos de 10 pacientes, en el cual, al t0 o testigo no se aplicó ningún tratamiento, teniendo como media de cicatrización 8.1 días, el T1 o 5 gr de miel de abeja, tuvo una media de cicatrización de 5.5 días, el T2 o 5 gr de panela, tuvo una media de 6.1 días y el T3 o 2.5 gr de miel de abeja + 2.5 gr de panela, tuvo una media de 5.4 días. Las alteraciones hematológicas se midieron mediante hemogramas. Tomando muestras antes y después de 24 horas de las cirugías, encontrando comúnmente alteraciones de leucocitos (leucocitosis) y neutrófilos (neutrófilia). Para la representación estadística de los resultados se utilizó un análisis de varianza (ADEVA), con el cual no se demostró diferencias significativas entre la edad, peso, raza, tamaño de la herida, grado de dolor, grado de inflamación y alteraciones hematológicas, sin embargo, en el tiempo de cicatrización se pudo evidenciar que un tratamiento se comportó de diferente manera el T0 o testigo, mientras que los otros tratamientos obtuvieron resultados similares.
Descripción :	The present investigation was conducted in the city of Guaranda, province of Bolívar, had as its theme "Evaluation of the combined therapy, honey and panela, in canine ovariohysterectomy surgeries, and their possible hematological alterations".
