Resumen :	El trabajo de grado, se denominó: “DISEÑO DE UN MANUAL OPERATIVO PARA EL “HOSTAL GRANT RUISEÑOR” QUE PERMITAN UNA GESTIÓN EFICIENTE Y EFICAZ EN EL CANTÓN CHIMBO - PROVINCIA BOLÍVAR, AÑO 2016”. Se planteó la siguiente problemática: ¿El diseño de un Manual Operativo, permitirá que el personal que labora en el área de alojamiento y recepción del “Hostal Grant Ruiseñor” ejecute sus funciones de una manera eficiente y eficaz?. Tuvo como Objetivo General: Diseñar un manual operativo de procesos para el área de alojamiento y recepción del “Hostal Grant Ruiseñor” que permitan una gestión eficiente y eficaz; y como Objetivos Específicos: Analizar y describir detalladamente a través de un diagnóstico los procedimientos que son llevados a cabo dentro del área de Alojamiento y Recepción del Hostal “Grant Ruiseñor”; identificar las debilidades existentes dentro del área de Alojamiento y Recepción del Hostal “Grant Ruiseñor”; y, establecer finalmente las respectivas conclusiones y recomendaciones acerca de la propuesta. En el presente manual se establecen funciones detalladas para cada uno de los puestos de trabajo que existen en el establecimiento con el objetivo de que los respectivos procesos se realicen de una manera más fácil y sencilla; además el mayor beneficio que busca obtener el hostal con la aplicación de estos procedimientos radica en mejorar el servicio, la atención e incrementar el número de clientes satisfechos. Finalmente se recomienda que el Hostal “Grant Ruiseñor” adopte la propuesta que contiene el presente Manual Operativo, aunque esto implique un mayor costo para sus propietarios, esto no debe verse como un gasto sino como una inversión.
Descripción :	The degree work was called: "DESIGN OF AN OPERATIVE MANUAL FOR THE" HOSTAL GRANT RUISEÑOR "THAT ALLOW EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT IN CANTÓN CHIMBO - PROVINCE BOLÍVAR, YEAR 2016". The following problem was raised: Does the design of an Operational Manual allow the staff working in the accommodation and reception area of the Hostal Grant Ruiseñor to carry out its functions efficiently and effectively? Its general objective was: To design an operational manual of processes for the area of lodging and reception of the "Hostel Grant Ruiseñor" that allow an efficient and effective management; And as specific objectives: Analyze and describe in detail through a diagnosis the procedures that are carried out within the area of Accommodation and Reception of the Hostel "Grant Ruiseñor"; Identify weaknesses in the area of Accommodation and Reception of the Hostel "Grant Ruiseñor"; And finally to establish the respective conclusions and recommendations on the proposal. This manual establishes detailed functions for each of the jobs that exist in the establishment with the aim that the respective processes are carried out in an easier and simple way; Besides that the biggest benefit that the hostel seeks to obtain with the application of these procedures is to improve the service, the attention and increase the number of satisfied customers. Finally, it is recommended that the Hostel "Grant Ruiseñor" adopt the proposal contained in this Operational Manual, although this implies a higher cost for its owners, this should not be seen as an expense but as an investment.
