dc.descriptionThe present thesis investigates the relation that exists between the processes of denoting reading and connotativa and the academic performance of the students of 6 º and 7 º year of basic education of the Escuela Particular Mixta BEST of the canton Vinces, in the province de Los Ríos. The chapter one delivers the concepts related to the reading, his principal theories, defining denoting reading and connotativa, the reading process and the elements that influence this one, the spheres of impact and the problems associated with the reading, finally it explains what is the academic performance and his relation with the reading processes. The chapter two announces the methodological strategies that are used for the investigation, being a not experimental, descriptive study, correlacional and of field, using the technologies of the survey and interview, observation, test and instruments of measurement of performance; the study is of type transeccional, applying the instrument in the space from September, 2010 to January, 2011; there are applied the phases considered in the scientific investigation, using for the process of tabulation systems computarizados. realizing finally an analysis inferencial and correlacional to demonstrate the hypothesis. The chapter three analyzes and intrepreta the results, verifies the hypothesis across an analysis inferencial and correlacional, delivers the conclusions and gives recommendations. The chapter four designs an offer of solution to the problems of the studied institution, in the processes of denoting reading and connotativa, across a series of significant activities that there apply the teachers and equipment of investigation in a period of four months, having a positive result, for the students, family parents, teachers and executives of the Nursery.en_US
dc.description.abstractLa presente tesis investiga la relación que existe entre los procesos de lectura denotativa y connotativa y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del 6º y 7º año de educación básica de la Escuela Particular Mixta BEST del cantón Vinces, en la provincia de Los Ríos. El capítulo uno entrega los conceptos relacionados con la lectura, sus principales teorías, definiendo lectura denotativa y connotativa, el proceso lector y los elementos que influyen en éste, las esferas de impacto y los problemas asociados a la lectura, finalmente explica qué es el rendimiento académico y su relación con los procesos lectores. El capítulo dos da a conocer las estrategias metodológicas que se usan para la investigación, siendo un estudio no experimental, descriptivo, correlacional y de campo, utilizando las técnicas de la encuesta y entrevista, observación, test e instrumentos de medición de rendimiento; el estudio es de tipo transeccional, aplicando el instrumento en el lapso de septiembre del 2010 a enero del 2011; se aplican las fases consideradas en la investigación científica, utilizando para el proceso de tabulación sistemas computarizados. realizando finalmente un análisis inferencial y correlacional para demostrar la hipótesis. El capítulo tres analiza e intrepreta los resultados, comprueba la hipótesis a través de un análisis inferencial y correlacional, entrega las conclusiones y da recomendaciones. El capítulo cuatro diseña una propuesta de solución a los problemas de la institución estudiada, en los procesos de lectura denotativa y connotativa, a través de una serie de actividades significativas que aplican los maestros y equipo de investigación en un período de cuatro meses, teniendo un resultado positivo, para los estudiantes, padres de familia, maestros y directivos del Plantel.en_US
