Resumen :	Nuestra necesidad es investigar un tema de mucha importancia como “La práctica de valores en los niños de la Escuela “Víctor Manuel Arregui” de la parroquia La Asunción, Cantón Chimbo, en el año lectivo 2010-2011. El problema que se presentó es: La baja práctica de valores en los niños de la Escuela “Víctor Manuel Arregui” de la parroquia La Asunción, Cantón Chimbo, durante el período lectivo 2010-2011, ha conllevado a un cambio de comportamiento en el ámbito educativo. Se abordó temas muy importantes como: Valores, Solidaridad, Respeto, Responsabilidad, Libertad, Paz, que deben conocer y practicar los niños y niñas del establecimiento. Tipo de estudio cuantitativo y cualitativo, una investigación aplicada, explicativa, descriptiva, documental y de campo. Se utilizó como técnica la encuesta con la elaboración del cuestionario como instrumento, se aplicó a 11 profesores y 39 padres de familia de la institución. Al realizar la investigación se utilizó el método inductivo-deductivo y el método analítico-sintético. Se utilizó la estadística descriptiva, basada en los resultados tabulamos datos, se elaboró tablas, representaciones gráficas de cada una de las preguntas para luego realizar el análisis correspondiente. Como parte del trabajo investigativo se llegó a considerar las siguientes conclusiones: Que los padres de familia no inculcan valores a sus hijos. Los maestros en sus actividades diarias no hablan de valores con sus educandos. Que debe ser obligatorio la enseñanza de valores a los niños por parte de sus maestros. La falta de valores ha provocado cambios de actitud en los niños convirtiéndose en problemas sociales. Que los padres de familia son los responsables de los cambios psicológicos que sufren sus hijos. Que los niños y las niñas que se forman con valores son personas con actitudes y aptitudes positivas. Que los maestros deben cambiar de actitud con los niños. La formación de los niños es responsabilidad de los padres en sus hogares y se refuerza en la escuela. Que hay maestros que si inculcan valores a los niños pero otros no lo hacen. Los valores si forman el comportamiento de los niños. Los valores son muy importantes en el comportamiento de las personas, porque es el conjunto de normas que rigen el convivir en la sociedad.
Descripción :	Our need is to investigate a topic of a lot of importance as " The practice of values in the children of the School "Victor Manuel Arregui " of the parish The Asunción, Canton I Ford, in the academic year 2010-2011. The problem that one presented is: The practical fall of values in the children of the School "Victor Manuel Arregui" of the parish The Asunción, Canton I Ford, during the school period 2010-2011, he has carried to a change of behavior in the educational area. I approach very important topics as: Values, Solidarity, Respect, Responsibility, Freedom, Peace, which they must know and practise the children and girls of the establishment. Type of quantitative and qualitative study, an applied, explanatory, descriptive, documentary investigation and of field. I use as technology the survey with the production of the questionnaire as instrument, apply to him 11 teachers and 39 family parents of the institution. On having realized the investigation I use the inductive - deductive method and the analytical - synthetic method. There was in use the descriptive statistics, based on the results we tabulate information, tables, graphical representations were elaborated of each one of the questions then to realize the corresponding analysis. Since part of the work investigative managed to consider the following conclusions: That the family parents do not inculcate value to his children. The teachers in his daily activities do not speak about values with his pupils. That must be obligatory the education of values to the children on the part of his teachers. The lack of values has provoked changes of attitude in the children XV turning into social problems. That the family parents are the persons in charge of the psychological changes that his children suffer. That the children and the girls who are formed with values are persons with attitudes and positive aptitudes. That the teachers must change attitude with the children. The formation of the children is a responsibility of the parents in his homes and is reinforced in the school. That there are teachers that if they inculcate you value the children but others do not do it. The values if they form the behavior of the children.
