dc.descriptionIn this investigation the following objectives were raised: to carry out the bromatological analysis of rosemary and calendula, to determine the healing effect of the cream in postoperative wounds of ovariohysterectomy and orchiectomy, to verify the healing time in postoperative wounds of ovariohysterectomy and orchiectomy in canines. The sample size was 40 animals, the rosemary and calendula cream. The bromatological examinations carried out on rosemary, the percentages of crude protein are 7.3%, 3.3% ethereal extract, 33.1% crude fiber and 5.8% ashes. On the other hand, 9.3% crude protein, 6.9% ethereal extract, fiber were obtained from the marigold flowers. gross 19.1% and ashes 9.2%. The efficacy of the cream and the reduction in the days of healing in the postoperative wounds of ovariohysterectomy and orchiectomy were verified, since the days of healing were 4 days respectively, and in this way it can be verified that said investigation fulfilled the stated objective. Field work lasted 90 days at the Guaranda City Urban Fauna Care Center during the months of November, December and January. This was done using a previously established schedule which included deworming, vitaminization, laboratory tests and recovery of the animals, which previously underwent surgical interventions that were performed daily in order to have adequate control of each one of the patients, the application of the cream was 2 times per day.es_MX
dc.description.abstractEn esta investigación se plantearon los siguientes objetivos realizar el análisis bromatológico del romero y caléndula, determinar el efecto cicatrizante de la crema en heridas postoperatoria de ovariohisterectomía y orquiectomía, comprobar el tiempo de cicatrización en heridas postoperatoria de ovariohisterectomía y orquiectomía en caninos. El tamaño de muestra fue de 40 animales, la crema de romero y caléndula. Los exámenes bromatológicos realizados del romero los porcentajes de proteína bruta son de 7.3 %, extracto etéreo 3.3 %, fibra bruta 33.1% y cenizas 5.8 % por otro lado de las flores de caléndula se obtuvieron proteína bruta 9.3%, extracto etéreo 6.9 %, fibra bruta 19.1% y cenizas 9.2 %. Se comprobó la eficacia de la crema y la reducción en los días de cicatrización en las heridas postoperatorias de ovariohisterectomía y orquiectomía ya que los días de cicatrización a 4 días respectivamente, y de esta manera se puede constatar que dicha investigación cumplió con el objetivo planteado, el trabajo de campo tuvo una duración de 90 días en el Centro de Atención de Fauna Urbana de la Ciudad de Guaranda durante los meses de Noviembre, Diciembre y Enero. Esto se lo realizo mediante un cronograma previamente establecido en el cual constaba desparasitación, vitaminizaciones, exámenes de laboratorio y recuperación de los animales los mismos que previamente fueron sometidos a las intervenciones quirúrgicas que se las realizaban diariamente con el fin de tener un control adecuado de cada uno de los pacientes, la aplicación de la crema fue de 2 veces por día.es_MX
