Resumen :	La identificación y cuantificación de parásitos internos en aves domésticas en el cantón Guaranda se evaluó en la zona periurbana que corresponde a las siguientes parroquias: Ángel Polibio Chávez, Gabriel Ignacio de Veintimilla y San Pedro de Guanujo. Se establecieron los siguientes objetivos específicos: determinar los principales parásitos gastrointestinales que afectan a las gallinas criollas en las parroquias periurbanas del cantón Guaranda, conocer la parroquia periurbana del cantón Guaranda con mayor infestación de parásitos internos, cuantificar el porcentaje de prevalencia de los parásitos internos en aves domésticas en las parroquias periurbanas de cantón Guaranda. Para realizar esta investigación se obtuvieron 40 muestras por parroquia en dos repeticiones a los siete días con un total absoluto de 80 muestras por parroquia y 240 en total y estas muestras se enviaron analizar a la clínica veterinaria Issac ubicada en la ciudad de Guaranda. Se realizó la prueba de Tukey, Fisher, correlación y regresión lineal simple, se obtuvo un gran hallazgo de parásitos donde el que tiene mayor prevalencia es la Eimeria con 88,42% y un coeficiente de variación (cv): 4,42 también se encontró Heterakis Gallinarum, Capillaria , Ascardia Galli, la parroquia que obtuvo mayor infestación de parásitos fue San Pedro de Guanujo donde obtuvo un 98% de prevalencia, Gabriel Ignacio de Veintimilla 91% y la parroquia Ángel Polibio Chávez con un 88% de prevalencia
Descripción :	The identification and quantification of internal parasites in domestic birds in the Guaranda canton was evaluated in the peri-urban area that corresponds to the following parishes: Ángel Polibio Chávez, Gabriel Ignacio de Veintimilla and San Pedro de Guanujo. The following specific objectives were established: to determine the main gastrointestinal parasites that affect Creole hens in the peri-urban parishes of the Guaranda canton, to know the peri-urban parish of the Guaranda canton with the highest infestation of internal parasites, to quantify the percentage of prevalence of internal parasites in Domestic birds in the peri-urban parishes of the Guaranda canton. To carry out this investigation, 40 samples were obtained per parish in two repetitions at seven days with an absolute total of 80 samples per parish and 240 in total, and these samples were sent for analysis to the Issac veterinary clinic located in the city of Guaranda. The Tukey, Fisher, correlation and simple linear regression tests were performed, a great finding of parasites was obtained where the one with the highest prevalence is Eimeria with 88.42% and a coefficient of variation (cv): 4.42. found Heterakis Gallinarum, Capillaria, Ascardia Galli, the parish that obtained the highest infestation of parasites was San Pedro de Guanujo where it obtained a 98% prevalence, Gabriel Ignacio de Veintimilla 91% and the Ángel Polibio Chávez parish with 88% prevalence.
