Resumen :	Este proyecto se ha realizado con el objeto de fomentar el proceso de aprendizaje del Idioma Kichwa en la “Unidad Educativa Comunitaria Intercultural Bilingüe San Juan Bosco” de la ciudad de Guaranda. Tomando como fortaleza la contribución que nos brindan las nuevas tecnologías para la información y la comunicación conocidas como las TICs, en el contexto educacional, cambiando los paradigmas de cómo se accede al conocimiento. Partiendo del problema de que los maestros en la “Unidad Educativa Comunitaria Intercultural Bilingüe San Juan Bosco” no disponen de herramientas tecnológicas que les ayude a la enseñanza del idioma kichwa y los estudiantes no están en buen nivel del conocimiento del mismo, se propone la creación de un Diccionario Virtual del Idioma Kichwa. Además se elaboró un cuestionario a fin de diagnosticar la situación actual de la institución con referente a la enseñanza del idioma kichwa y recopilar los requerimientos basados en las necesidades de los usuarios Se siguió la metodología de diseño web OOHDM (Método de diseñó de Hipermedia Orientada a Objetos) que nos permitió obtener los requeriditos para en base a esto realizar el diseño conceptual del sistema web, lo que implica diseñar la base de datos , el diseño navegacional y diseñar la estructura que tendrá el aplicativo web. En la fase de producción y desarrollo con la ayuda de Dreamweaver se elaboró el módulo del diccionario, utilizando el lenguaje de programación php y mysql como base de datos, luego se implementó el gestor de contenido Joomla para dentro de este incluir el módulo del diccionario. La ventaja de también usar Joomla es que debido a su flexibilidad se podría incluir varios módulos a futuro a fin de que la plataforma se vaya mejorando. Para el diseño gráfico se utilizó Photoshop, de esta manera se creó una interfaz atractiva. La prueba piloto fue el modo correcto de verificar el correcto funcionamiento del sistema, descubriendo algunas fallas y añadiendo contenidos sugeridos por los usuarios, posteriormente con los datos obtenidos en la evaluación de satisfacción se mejoró la plataforma y se la libero al público subiéndola a un servidor de internet.
Descripción :	This project has been carried out with the aim of promoting the process of learning the Kichwa language in the "San Juan Bosco Bilingual Intercultural Community Education Unit" in the city of Guaranda. Taking as a strength the contribution that ICT information and communication technologies provide us in the educational field, changing the way in which knowledge is accessed. Starting from the problem that the teachers in the “San Juan Bosco Bilingual Intercultural Community Education Unit” do not have technological tools to help them teach the Kichwa language and the students are not at a good level of knowledge of it, the creation is proposed of a Virtual Dictionary of the Kichwa Language. In addition, a questionnaire was developed in order to diagnose the current situation of the institution regarding the teaching of the Kichwa language and collect information on the needs of the users. The OOHDM web design methodology was followed (Object Oriented Hypermedia Design Method) that allowed us to obtain the requirements for based on this to carry out the conceptual design of the application, which implies the design of the database, the navigational design and design of the structure that the web application will have. In the production and development phase, with the help of Dreamweaver, the dictionary module was developed, using the programming language php and mysql as a database, then the Joomla content manager was implemented to include the dictionary module within it. The advantage of also using Joomla is that due to its flexibility, several modules could be included in the future in order to improve the platform. Photoshop was used for graphic design, thus creating an attractive interface. The pilot test was the correct way to verify the correct operation of the system, discovering some flaws and adding content suggested by users. Later, with the results of the satisfaction evaluation, the platform was improved and released to the public by uploading it to a server. Internet.
