Escuela de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia, 2014) Sánchez Guevara, Fernando Rodolfo; Carrasco, WashingtonIn the province of Tungurahua, Quero Canton Parish Rumipamba the research evaluation of reproductive efficiency in rabbits subjected to artificial insemination with different diluents and natural mating was performed. Established the following objectives : To determine the conception rate in rabbits subjected to a program of insemination and natural mating , determine which of the different types of diluent is better; assess treatment costs during the research process. Were subjected to study 48 rabbits playing , they were divided into blocks completely random in this investigation three treatments more established the control group as follows : group control treatment in which females did not receive hormone application simply the male was used for the induction of ovulation, treatment up commercial diluent, two water treatment coconut , coconut water three treatment + carbetocin . The study variables were: percentage of birth , number of kits born alive , number of kits to weaning (45 days ) , percentage of viability of diluents: The variables were subjected to analysis of variance , mean separation by Duncan 's Multiple Range 5 and 1% probability and cost / benefit . It was concluded that : The percentage of birth in rabbits subjected to artificial insemination with different diluents and natural mating , it is observed that there are no significant differences between treatment means , only numerical differences between treatment means were determined with a average of 64.60 %, in the number of young born per sow the best treatment for the treatment is set one ( commercially diluent) with an average of 6.50 per female rabbits , on the number of rabbits weaned per sow the best treatment is fixed in the control treatment ( with natural mating ) with an average of 4.75 per female rabbits , the percentage of viability is observed that the diluents used as diluent water more coconut viability carbetocin the first day is 90 % , the second day 20 % and the third day of 5% , and by using as diluent coconut water alone viability day is 90 % on the second day of the 40 % and the third days of 10% and finally to use the commercial diluent better than the first 58 day viability is 100 % to 60% the second day and the third day of 10% is observed , the economic analysis based on cost benefit , it appears that the best treatment is the control ( natural mating ) value of 1.12
