    This research contains the tools and elements used for the development of the web application "Control System and Teacher Student Assistance" (CAED), which is so detailed analysis of the needs that the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Business Management and Informatics State University of Bolivar, in terms of academic management. Using the techniques of data collection interview and direct observation were able to obtain the information necessary to determine the system requirements, which served to establish the general functions for users; to the stage of analysis and structured design methodology and model RAD (Rapid Application Development), in the implementation phase of extreme programming, which facilitates teamwork, adjusting to our characteristics was used was used. Open Source tools used in the development of this application: OS Centos, languages: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, Ajax; Manager PostgreSQL database, database manager Webmin data, which enabled the development and management of information. With the implementation of the Control System and Teacher Student Assistance (CAED) times as much as for income and information queries were systematically reduced.
