    This research includes the implementation of the Tourism Unit Decentralized Autonomous Municipal Government of Guangzhou Chimbo, content to discover important guidelines for the development of tourism. We start to find previous publications on the subject proposal that responds to different problems detected, the same that will allow us to justify the execution of research, through the approach of objectives that formed the basis for the development of this investigative process. The document is drafted and developed in the simplest way possible, with current information that serves as a reference, the same as executed meant a concrete and positive for the development and progress of the action input area. The development of this research, has enriched our knowledge, further it tests the knowledge acquired during the period as college students, whose desire is to give back and serve the community. Chapter I is the information corresponding to the theoretical framework, within which is the frame of reference and in turn, selects the prior knowledge of one or more authors, which allows support of research in the conceptual framework: the meaning defined the terms to be employed and on which scientific theory relates. Hypothesizing is also developed, and determination of its variables. The techniques used are based: methods, types of research, techniques and instruments for the use of data, universe, sample and data processing. Chapter II contains the tabulation, presentation and interpretation of results of the survey of the population sample of Canton Chimbo, and hypothesis testing, conclusions and recommendations. The proposal based on the implementation of the tourism unit, raised by the authors of the research, it is described in an understandable way, and covers aspects such as introduction, justification, objectives, development of the proposal is presented in the last chapter, expected results and to complete bibliography and appendices.

    Plan de marketing turístico para la ruta de Downhill mama Rumi en el Cantón Chimbo-Ecuador

    Mama Rumi es una ruta antiguamente conocida como un camino de los incas, se encuentra ubicada en Ecuador, Provincia de Bolívar cantón Chimbo, con este plan de marketing turísticose busca aprovechar esta ruta con gran potencial que desde hace 10 años realiza una competencia de ciclismo extremo, del tipo Down Hill catalogada como difícil, la cual reúne ciclistas del Ecuador y del mundo, con 15 km de recorrido en descenso desde los 3000 hasta 500 msnm. En este trabajo, se identifica la ubicación de cada uno de los atractivos, las potenciales actividades y los servicios turísticos que se pueden ofrecer. La propuesta se planea para iniciar en el año 2018. Siguiendo las estrategias de marketing mix, se analiza toda esta información, llegando al plan financiero, con una inversión inicial de USD 100.391,52 y con una recuperación de la inversión inicial a los cuatro años de actividad. Los indicadores VAN de USD 90,593.59, TIR del 28% mayor a la tasa interbancaria y el TIRM del 21.57% concluyendo que el plan de marketing de la ruta Mama Rumi es rentable.
