The research was conducted with great academic and scientific rigor, providing opportunities to improve the problem, this requires understanding the role and principles and so-called four Rs promote their implementation and improve living conditions and environmental care school environment Simon Bolívar Guaranda City, Province of Bolivar. Problem analysis is based on ignorance of the r and its influence on the deterioration of living conditions and the environment. It clearly justifies the research topic to analyze the current situation of recycling of waste in the institution and establish clear guidelines awareness from students to the education authorities, which serve as background for the introduction of favorable environmental care strategies in other institutions of the city. Objectives that were proposed to be met both in time and for the development of strategies for change, for which I needed to structure a hypothesis that allows me to develop a theoretical framework in line with expectations of research, considering the systematic application of Rs as independent variable, environmental care as dependent variable and living conditions as an intervening variable, and then develop the theoretical framework that supports the desired expectations in this work. The thesis work was based on a descriptive, the data provided by authorities, teachers and students on campus, was to describe the social phenomenon as it appears in reality in this case, for this reason for the effect work in the first chapter describes the theoretical framework of reference, underpinning situational and legal research. The second chapter deals with methodological strategies, techniques and instruments used in the study, plan processing and data analysis, universe and sample and research methods. And exposure and development of change strategies and practices provide solutions to the environmental problem and find sources of remuneration to support the initiatives managed by the institution. The third chapter will be held the essence of the research topic, in this chapter were developed surveys to obtain data from the systematic application of r in the conservation and environmental care for the environment of the institution, there will be analysis of the results of observation, interviews and testing of the hypothesis. Analyzing the data could be obtained conclusions and recommendations provided the basis to develop some strategies and teaching techniques that apply to the school to develop significant knowledge and attitudes of respect for the environment. This document refers to information valuable to the research institution that will provide guidance to others with similar characteristics that can be applied with equivalent standards in order to allow consultation to be a source of further research.
