Resumen :	The present investigation has gotten ready with the purpose of putting to the school educational managers' disposition, the thematic basic material of the main ones that treats The Educational Leadership in the Institutional Administration." These concepts of educational leadership in the institutional administration are guided to the human capital and intellectual capital that it revitalizes the man's function in the society. We have carried out the study in an educational institution of so long trajectory and of illustrious name, the school Manuel of Echeandía"; whose antecedents go back to the XIX Century, it has been necessary to travel to the trustworthy sources of the history and the truthful testimony of people understood in the matter or protagonistic of the referred events. The work has carried out it based on four chapters, in the first one we describe the leadership, types of the leader's leadership functions, we try on the educational management and all the related with the institutional administration. This will allow us to study the types of leadership that gerencian an educational institution as ours whose purpose is the academic formation, technique, scientific and humanistic. For it, to put into practice the educational leadership will allow to improve the quality of life, the prestige of the school establishment and the preparation of new leaders for the tomorrow. The second part dedicates it to define the one in route to continuing inside the process of the science we define the method, the study type, the universe and sample, as well as, the techniques and tools that were good for the development of the present work. The third part understands the analysis and interpretation of results that it allowed us to culminate with the elaboration of the last chapter that is the investigation proposal where we outline the solution to the opposing problem, by means of the implementation of a guide for the formation of educational leaders in the institutional administration of the school Manuel of Echeandía, based on a new type of educational leadership inside the school institutions.
Descripción :	La presente investigación se ha preparado con el propósito de poner a disposición de los gerentes educativos escolares, el material básico de las principales temáticas que trata “El Liderazgo Educativo en la Gestión Institucional”. Estos conceptos de liderazgo educativo en la gestión institucional se orientan al “capital humano” y “capital intelectual” que revitaliza la función del hombre en la sociedad. Hemos realizado el estudio en una institución educativa de tan larga trayectoria y de nombre ilustre, la escuela “Manuel de Echeandía”; cuyos antecedentes se remontan al Siglo XIX, ha sido necesario recorrer a las fuentes fidedignas de la historia y el testimonio veraz de personas entendidas en la materia o protagónicas de los referidos acontecimientos. El trabajo lo hemos realizado en base a cuatro capítulos, en el primero describimos el liderazgo, tipos de liderazgo funciones del líder, tratamos sobre la gerencia educativa y todo lo relacionado con la gestión institucional. Esto nos permitirá estudiar los tipos de liderazgo que gerencian una institución educativa como la nuestra, cuya finalidad es la formación académica, técnica, científica y humanística. Por ello, poner en práctica el liderazgo educativo permitirá mejorar la calidad de vida, el prestigio del establecimiento escolar y la preparación de nuevos lideres para el mañana. La segunda parte la destinamos a definir el camino a seguir dentro del proceso de la ciencia definimos el método, el tipo de estudio, el universo y muestra, así como, las técnicas y herramientas que sirvieron para el desarrollo del presente trabajo. La tercera parte comprende el análisis e interpretación de resultados, que nos permitió culminar con la elaboración del último capítulo que es la propuesta de investigación donde planteamos la solución al problema encontrado, mediante la implementación de una guía para la formación de líderes educativos en la gestión institucional de la escuela Manuel de Echeandía, basada en un nuevo tipo de liderazgo educativo dentro de las instituciones escolares.
