Resumen :	The research use of Free Software in Practice Teaching and learning outcomes in general baccalaureate students unified National Technical College " San Jose" San Jose Parish of Tambo, Canton Chillanes, Bolivar Province in the Academic Period 2013 suggests a structured specifically to plan and implement the use of free software as an educational resource, in order to assist the student in the learning process and teachers in the process of accompaniment (teaching) of the student, using the software approach Royalty is to develop students skills, abilities , habits, attitudes and critical and reflective thinking. This research allows us to see the problems in the process of learning about the use of free software , it was important to collect information from members of the institution to which guidelines for decision was obtained. Chapter I. - The development of this research is complemented by the theoretical framework the scientific theory of free software, which is the freedom of users about the product we acquired reflecting stress upon the history of free software that comes from the 60 and 70 where it was not considered a product if it added that large vendors approved its customers so that they could use them, we know that in 1984, Richard Stallman began working on GNU project and who later founded the Free Software Foundation of Hence the definition of free software and the concept of "copyleft" hence that free software is a matter of the users freedom to run, copy, distribute, study, change and improve the software. As for classification we have according to their cost, open source code, its protection, law and philosophy. It also refers to the variables that give reliable information on project performance. XKnowledge of free software helps teaching practice space for learning and appropriate job training for teachers. Learning is the acquisition of knowledge from certain information or perception. The conceptual theory , refers to the concepts and definitions that are the starting point for itself what it means to each of the important words that strengthens this theory. A referential theory, which is given to know the birth, growth and development of free software and used it as other teachers in educational institutions. All work is backed by a legal theory , which I refer to the various Articles of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador . Law on Higher Education. Intercultural Education Law. There is a Situational Theory, which reflects how the educational institution where the research applies to near the free software in teaching is. Chapter II-. Refers to the methodological strategies applied to achieve the objective. The tools and techniques used to obtain information such as surveys authorities, teachers and students. An appropriate methodology such as field research, as was done in the same place the phenomenon under study. Directly observed reality of the students in the computer labs, the historical and logical, analytic-synthetic method was used. Reference to change strategies that helped solve the problem identified a tutorial for this free software was developed as a tool to improve teaching and learning is done. XIChapter III-. Disclosed is the analysis and interpretation of survey results and the interpretation thereof by the tab bars being more reliable for the investigation. The verification of the hypothesis that need an educational guide of free software that serves as support for the Teaching-Learning National Technical Baccalaureate College "San Jose". It came to the conclusions and recommendations we can give about the work of applied research. For the fulfillment of the work we do much good literature in which scientific theory is supported, and the whole development. Scientific article based on this that should improve the implementation of free software
Descripción :	El trabajo de investigación Aplicación del Software Libre en la Práctica Docente y sus efectos de aprendizaje en los estudiantes de bachillerato general unificado del Colegio Nacional Técnico “San José” de la Parroquia San José del Tambo, Cantón Chillanes, Provincia Bolívar en el periodo lectivo 2013, sugiere un enfoque estructurado para planificar e implementar específicamente el uso del software libre como recurso educativo, con la finalidad de ayudar al estudiante en el proceso de aprendizaje y al docente en el proceso de acompañamiento (enseñanza) del estudiante, mediante el uso del software libre se pretende desarrollar en los estudiantes habilidades, capacidades, hábitos, actitudes y un pensamiento crítico y reflexivo. Dicha investigación nos permite ver la problemática existente en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en cuanto a la utilización del software libre, para ello fue importante recolectar información de los miembros de la institución con lo que se obtuvo pautas para una decisión. Capitulo I.- El desarrollo de está investigación esta complementada por el marco teórico donde se refleja la teoría científica del software libre, que es la libertad de los usuarios sobre el producto adquirido hacemos incapie en la historia del software libre que viene desde los años 60 y 70 en donde no era considerado un producto si no un añadido que los grandes vendedores aprobaban a sus clientes para que estos pudieran usarlos, conocemos que en 1984 Richard Stallman comenzó a trabajar en el proyecto GNU ya que mas tarde fundo la Free Software Fundation de ahí la definición del software libre y el concepto de “copyleft” de ahí que el software libre es la cuestión de la libertad de los usuarios de ejecutar, copiar, distribuir, estudiar, cambiar y mejorar el software. En cuanto a su clasificación tenemos de acuerdo a su costo, a la apertura del código fuente, a su protección, legalidad y su filosofía. VIITambién hace referencia a las variables que dan información confiable para el cumplimiento del proyecto . El conocimiento del software libre ayuda espacio destinado al aprendizaje y a la formación a la práctica docente apropiada del oficio de docentes. El aprendizaje es la adquisición de conocimientos a partir de determinada información o percepción. La teoría conceptual, se refiere a los conceptos y definiciones que son el punto de partida para conocer en si lo que que significa cada una de las palabras importantes que ayuda a fortalecer dicha teoría. Una teoría referencial, donde se da conocer el nacimiento, crecimiento y desarrollo del software libre y como lo utilizaron otros docentes en las instituciones educativas. Todo trabajo está respaldado de una teoría legal, donde hago referencia a los diferentes artículos de la Constitución de la República del Ecuador. Ley Orgánica de Educación Superior. Ley Orgánica de Educación Intercultural. Existe una Teoría Situacional, donde refleja cómo se encuentra la institución educativa donde se aplica la investigación a cerca del software libre en la práctica docente. Capitulo II.- Se refiere a las estrategias metodológicas aplicada para alcanzar el objetivo propuesto. Los instrumentos y técnicas utilizadas para la obtención de información como las encuestas a autoridades, docentes y estudiantes. Una metodología apropiada como es la investigación de campo, ya que se realizo VIIIen el mismo lugar del fenómeno en estudio. Observó de forma directa la realidad de los estudiantes en los laboratorios de computación, se utilizó el método histórico-lógico, analítico-sintético. Se hace referencia a las estrategias de cambio, que ayudaron a solucionar el problema detectado para ello se elaboró una guía didáctica del software libre como herramienta para mejorar la enseñanza y aprendizaje. Capitulo III.- Se da a conocer el análisis e interpretación de resultados de las encuestas y la interpretación de las mismas mediante la tabulación en barras siendo más confiables para la investigación realizada. La comprobación de la Hipótesis que es necesario una Guía Didáctica del Software Libre que sirve como apoyo para la Enseñanza-Aprendizaje del Bachillerato del Colegio Nacional Técnico “San José”. Se llegó a las conclusiones y podemos dar recomendaciones a cerca del trabajo de investigación aplicado. Para el cumplimiento del trabajo nos sirve de mucho la bibliografía en la que se respalda la teoría científica, y todo el desarrollo del mismo.
