| dc.description | The hospital of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security in the city of Guaranda is an institution that provides health care services is of great importance for the development of our province as it is responsible for ensuring the welfare of their members. This graduation work deals with the improvement in the control of the central warehouse inventories this hospital through the creation and implementation of a procedures manual in order to serve as a support for efficiently and bring them up to date. This nursing home has been affected by the lack of unification of administrative processes, which has facilitated the mismanagement of drug inventories in terms of stocks, losses, expiration, to mention some important aspects, which has led to that reports issued to the parent company located in Quito are wrong in terms of quantity and economic values is concerned. Research methods such as interviews and survey directed to the administrative staff of the hospital IESS was used, the same who facilitated seek me accurate information, which got check the problem and the acceptance of the hypothesis to determine the problem of this institution for the realization of this work. Once research developed a tool for the correct management and inventory control of drugs such as the creation of a manual of procedures given that the institution does not handle along the lines of a manual is produced. This procedure manual carefully directs the activities and procedures for the proper inventory control as well as determine roles and responsibilities for each officer is related to inventories hospital as their professional profile and competences. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | El hospital del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social de la ciudad de Guaranda es una institución que brinda servicios asistenciales de salud, es de gran importancia para el desarrollo de nuestra provincia ya que se encarga de velar por el bienestar de sus afiliados. Es por ello que este trabajo de graduación trata sobre el mejoramiento en el control de los inventarios de la Bodega Central de este hospital a través de la creación e implementación de un manual de procedimientos con la finalidad de que sirva de ayuda para llevar de forma eficiente y actualizada los mismos. Esta casa de salud se ha visto afectada por la falta de unificación de sus procesos administrativos, lo cual ha facilitado el mal manejo de los inventarios de fármacos en cuanto a stocks, pérdidas, caducidad, por citar algunos aspectos relevantes, lo que ha conllevado a que los reportes emitidos hacia la casa Matriz ubicada en la ciudad de Quito sean erróneos en cuanto a cantidades y valores económicos se refiere.
